Although the service was impeccable. I found the tasting menu to be lackluster in comparison.
Snapper special was very good. Service and the outdoor seating was superb! We will back very soon.
Extremily slow service, staff were just talking insted of looking at clients needs. The time kitchen spends in serving the food was too long. We arrived at 6:15 and they served the first dish at 7:00. The food was exquisite in a nice and chic place.
We are all sick the next day
It’s one of my favorite and finest Japanese in NYC. You can see the art and passion put in every dish and you can watch the chefs create that perfect dish . Service is impeccable and the food is delicious. Though a bit on the higher end but I go to this restaurant on mist of my special occasions.
Amazing! The food is amazing!!!
The sushi is average. Having been to Masa, this is many steps below.
Beautiful place with good service and delicious food, but be ready to eat another dinner afterwards. Plates are some of the tiniest I've ever seen.
uninspired food. lax service. Not at all a place I would return to. Expensive, but all good sushi is costly, however this was so ho hum, it wasn't worth the tab
Excellent, as always..
Great food and ambiance. Love this place
Outstanding from start to finish....food , service , ambiance etc.
Very good food, good service, we enjoyed the dinner be much
The food is impeccable as well as the service.
Overall an amazing restaurant with beautiful art. The food was great and the service was as well. Could not recommend it more.
The sashimi was very fresh.
My favorite restaurant in Nyc. I can't recommend it enough.
Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful food. The service was excellent and helpful. Definitely a place to return to!
Very basic, nothing special. Drinks were just okay. Pretty disappointing.
Amazing to be back. Mark is a wonderful leader of the guests and team. Has been for years.
Way too expensive given average quality of sushi.
Food and service were perfect.
Everything delicious just very expensive. The rolls I recommend
A bit deceiving!
We always make sure we get our sushi fix here when in New York--especially convenient to our hotel. We always let the waiters make recommendations and they are always fantastic. Really enjoyed the Heat cocktail too!!
One of the top 5 dining experiences I’ve ever had in nyc- ranking with Bouley, Per Se, Le Bernadin and Daniel
This is a very expensive restaurant that doesn't meet expectations.
Amazing food and service!
They made us wait for half and hour to sit us...
Besides that, exellent place for japanese food...
Fish quality was poorer than expected. Cooked food was overly rich.
Food still excellent ans having Andrew hosting is an asset
Phenomenal food with a hefty price tag. Limited menu during covid
Food was outstanding, but offset by below par service.
It was lovely and felt safe as diners well spaced. Wud have liked to b enjoying a drink while we waited for table upstairs. I think one group at time waiting at bar wud b reccomended.
Perfect as always
An excellent meal with wonderful very attentive service
not worth it! over priced and horrible service all around.
As a single diner ... they wanted me to sit at the sushi bar , but did give mea table ... the food is always spectacular.
I love the foisgras tacos and the watercress beet salad ... tried it this time with the tuna ... not sure what it is ...not regular cooked or raw tuna ... more like a smoked or seasoned tuna cake slivered into the salad ... delicious!
Service is efficient... atmosphere is business-like but comfortable. Very expensive! I will be back.
Mark the maitre D is AMAZING!!!
