Great experience! They are doing an amazing job adapting to outdoor dining. Felt as those they were very concerned about our wellbeing and safety. Still had great food and excellent beer!
First time out since March. Andy was a fantastic bartender/server. Wonderful food and atmosphere as always. The outdoor dining was perfect
I love Keg and Kitchen! Dining during covid is unique, but there’s an outside bar and a bunch of seating. Great food and the staff was very careful about health safety. I always recommend this place!!!
Despite Covid-19, the set up to accommodate outside Dino g was great. Greeted warmly. Autumn was a wonderful server, very attentive. Food as always was wonderful even the curtailed menu had great offerings and preparation was on point. Thanks for a great evening out.
Everything was amazing. From service to good. Will be back again
Good place especially during the COVID outside dinning. Food was good and the place had a beer garden type atmosphere
Our pear and endive salads were just ok, but our friend got their tacos and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes for our salads. That is after we asked two different servers at two different times. Our server didn't check on us until we were done eating. How unfortunate. The salad was just ok. There was some brown greens in mine which should have been removed prior to serving.
Service was excellent but my burger was bland and tasteless. My fries were all stuck together in a big clump. Drinks are expensive.
The food here is AMAZING!! They offer outdoor seating with everything going on. It’s clearly a make shift set up but I’m happy they created that option to allow for service at this restaurant. I will definitely be back to try their fried chicken and Mac and cheese as it looked delicious!! I had a delicious turkey burger .. the flavor was so good and I’m truly impressed.
The food was great and our server was a super nice guy but honestly the minute the owner came over and scolded me that my dog was in the table for a second, I knew I wouldn’t return. Rather than a request or even a warning, he quickly threatened to kick us out for being “disgusting”. No offense but my dog is perfectly clean and honestly we watched when they cleared tables... none were wiped down. So maybe we should be more concerned about the basic lack of cleaning.
Food was great. Server was a little flip. But it didn't ruin the overall experience
Great food, service and drinks!
Nice night out
The Keg & Kitchen. Did a great job converting to outdoor dining. Well done and thanks for reopening.
The entire team and our server Jessica made it an awesome, fun and very relaxing experience. Thanks
Back and better than ever IMO!
We love Keg and Kitchen. Their food is different and delicious always and the atmosphere is fun and entertaining.
A little gem on Haddon Avenue! The service was fantastic. Our server was on her own in a very busy lunch time. Thanks much.
Saturday night family fun. Joe took excellent care of us.
first - thanks for saving us the table requested - we appreciate that very much. As for the food - chicken wings were very good as usual; tried the crab and cod fritters and think I have a new fave - great consistency, very little filler - an excellent addition to the menu - only 1 suggestion - provide a side of the wonderful sauce that comes on the plate. Our main waitperson was very accommodating and brought out extra on request. We also loved the grilled cheese - we added bacon and it was perfect. A very nice selection of beers on tap rounded out a lovely dinner We'll definitely be back.
We would definitely go back. A bit loud so hard to carry a conversation with multiple parties.
Staff was great. We had a booth seat which was good it made it easier to enjoy conversation.
Excellent food, excellent beer list & excellent service. Recommend Keg & Kitchen highly.
The restaurant had very nice ambiance. Very rustic in a nice way. The food was excellent. The staff was very nice. We will definitely be back to check out the craft beer selection!
I’ve had hit or miss experiences at Keg and Kitchen brunch. We had huevos rancheros and chicken and waffles. Everything was great. Thanks for a good experience
Good food and good service
The hostess was not a good listener. There wait staff was amazing. The food was very expensive for what you got.
We had an absolutely wonderful Valentine’s Day out without the kids! Joe, our waiter, Westport standup comedian part best friend. He did such a wonderful job walking us through the menu since we’ve never been there before and helping us choose out beers that would complement what we were eating. We stayed for over two hours! We never felt rushed. It was fantastic. Will definitely be back.
Food was amazing. There were many choices for all tastes. Presentation was also impeccable. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We will be back.
We made a reservation for standard seating. When we got there we were offered high top setting which one of our party specifically didn’t want. They said there was a table ready that they were going to give to another party but would give to us since we had a reservation, which I thought was kind of the point of a reservation. Once seated our waiter was right over although the plates we got looked like they had been washed with dirty water, which was a little gross. They replaced a couple. We ordered several plates to share. The mushroom flatbread was great, tuna tartar was good. The nachos came to the table cold and the spicy potatoes were so salty as to be almost inedible. In general they were heavy handed with salt in almost everything. Drinks came almost halfway through the meal which was less than ideal.
I had selected high-top seating on the OpenTable app, yet was told when I got there for my reservation that if I wanted a high top, I would need to wait in the lengthy line, regardless of my reservation. Very unorganized at the front, not sure who was actually in charge, as the two hostess' stared back and forth at each other.
At the conclusion of dinner, were told by our waiter that we would need to pay the "european way" now... which apparently means, they swipe your card on a hand-held device, table side, and then watch you as you input their tip. Very awkward, and last time I checked/went, not actually the "european way".
I have always enjoyed K&K but the last few times between the menu changes/prices, and unorganized and unaccommodating front desk, I have to say, moving forward, I will certainly be choosing a different restaurant for special occasions.
Met with friends, a bit loud but maybe just getting old? Ha! Fun time, great service at bar as well as table, food was delicious and we would definitely go back!
Got early for reservations waited 30 minutes after to get in...insulted by hostess who asked me if I could text...but had to go to podium 4 times before table was ready. Food below par..medium hamburger raw...a sporting event is quieter
We arrived about 10 minutes late for our reservation (our fault but I did call to tell them). They said there was a wait (understandable, it’s Saturday). They offered us the community table- we said no we would rather wait. Then there was a few tables that opened up and those before us were sat (makes sense). Then a high top opened up and a low 4 top right by the door (that looked out of place, like it was just put there to accommodate a walk in or extra people). I asked to have the high top (which had two place settings on it) and the host said it was reserved for a part of 4. No “reserved” sign though, which was on every other reserved table. So they sat us at the random table by the door, which if we were clearly on a date (like every other couple who was properly accommodated), and had a reservation, is unacceptable and should not have happened especially when I asked if we could sit somewhere else. After we got our food and after we left the table that was “reserved” was not sat. We were there for about 1.5 hours while the table sat empty. The table sat empty for 10 minutes prior to us being seated also. To me that’s just not okay. If one has a reservation (even if late BUT calls to update the restaurant) they shouldn’t be sat at a random table when every other couple before us (and I stress couple) was sat in the nice room, with fireplace, not by the door. Service was good- she was busy but attentive. Bus boy ran by the table and tapped it as if we weren’t there which is really not okay. Food was good but not great for the value. They didn’t seat us at the high top because they wanted to clear out the servers section. That’s not okay, especially when we asked for a quite place and were sat right by the door in the bar. We probably won’t come back.
Outstanding meal & service. Highly recommend!
Good food. Lots of noise and a little cramped.
Great food, beer & atmosphere (sat by fireplace) - looking forward to heading back!
Sunday brunch was delish. PGreat food, perfect ambiance, was good for kids too.
First time there. Will go back again. Food and drinks were great as well as service. Only negative is that I found it to be louder than most places. Sat at high tops near bar. Other room looked great and more quiet but overall it was great. Definitely will go back!
We've dined here multiple times and each time something else happens that makes you think they're trending in the wrong direction. Collectively the issues seem connected to who's making decisions. Tonight it started being seated and hostess not noticing that there were not enough place settings (not resolved during the entire meal). Took 10 minutes before being greeted and drink order taken. It was explained that they have a new system that was challenging for all staff (the first of many times that the new system was mentioned as the reason for challenges). Waters were then promised - never arrived through the meal. Ordered appetizers and drinks. We finished our appetizers before waitress checked on us. Then the waitress brought out our drinks. Again, the new system was blamed for slow drink service. Waitress had a section that was split between the two farthest ends of the restaurant. Poor planning and decision making. Entrees came out but again we were done our drinks and ate without beverages. We were trying to have a no stress evening. However, once the check came out, I noticed that I was charged $2 for the tonic in my gin and tonic as well as a separate fee of $10.50 for the gin... as if each ingredient was itemized. I looked for the server to ask for clarity, but after 10 minutes I approached the bartender. The bartender responded that it's the new system that charges a separate fee for each mixer. The manager came out and explained that the new system charges the separate fee but that they would remove it from the check. I explained that these little inconveniences seem to increase every time we eat there. Then it got even more weird. I handed my credit card to the server, my card was swiped table side and I was handed a tablet to enter my tip while the server stood next to me. This reminded me of a Friendly's type experience. I was told once again that paying on the tablet was part of the new system.
Place has all the potential but needs immediate help!
