Kendell's Bistro

Went at the wrong time - night before lockdown and a restricted menu.

This is our favourite place to Dine. We have not been here for Sunday Lunch before but it lived up to our expectations, the meal was delicious. Would highly recommend

This restaurant never lets you down. The food is always high quality and value for money and I continue to recommend it to all my friends.

Food was top class,flavoursome and a delight to the eyes !! Service was fantastic,no nagging waters or waitresses just left to enjoy a fabulous meal and atmosphere !!

Very generous portions, lovely surroundings, good wine, food was well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
I’m not-picking but would have preferred some of the veg to be separate and some more adventurous options on the main course menu. Thanks for a lovely evening!

My husband and I dined here for our wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the wine was exceptional. We will definitely be going again. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food - all the bistro classics. On the expensive side, but cheaper than a trip to Paris. Large portions, but I still ordered a side of Dauphinoise potatoes as you rarely see this dish on menus and the ones at Kendells are really yummy.

Foods arnt seasoned properly french soup no seasoning cheesecake no sugar just tasted of mascarpone very sickly toilets smell, feels like an old office space, to dark room can’t even read menu

Food was of a very high standard and service very good. The restaurant is a little on the expensive side but the lighting and decor provided a warm welcoming feel and the staff were helpful and attentive

Always a good atmosphere at Kendals. The food was excellent, the menu is slightly reduced to the usual but still plenty of choice

Exceptional food. Had been craving the French onion soup for a good while. Everything, the food, the service and ambience was superb.

The starters and mains were something else. Flavours that you wouldn’t expect and obviously all reeally well cooked.
My dessert was a tad dry but still tasted good.
Exceptional with really good service we arrived half an hour early and
although we were sat straight away the table was right up against the bar however the restaurant was busy so we were happy to be seated.
Did try to squeeze an extra bottle of wine into the bill but sorted without question.

As ever lovely food in a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. Set 2/3 course available at certain times with fair range of choices. The service was polite and attentive. Covid measures in place but they did not detract from the dining experience. Great place to go before/after Leeds Playhouse visit

This was the first time Kendell's had done Sunday lunch and, as with everything they do, it was really good. Looking forward to going again.

Sunday lunch date with hubby. First time visiting and can’t believe we’d not been before now. From the choice of food on the menu to the actual food was fantastic and we’ll definitely be visiting again and also recommending to family and friends.

Have been to Kendalls several times but this was the first since the pandemic. Some changes have been made to ensure social distancing meaning the ambience was not quite the same. However, the service and food was the same high standard. An enjoyable experience.

Excellent meal with good quality food, professional and attentive service.

The only slight negative is the level of lighting. It is difficult to read the menu with the low level of lighting. You need a mobile phone to use as a torch.

We have been before and we knew what to expect and despite this little quirk we will be returning.

Great menu cooked with panache. A lovely evening with staff who really enjoy what they do and make the experience special.

As ever, the food and service were excellent. It was a Tuesday evening, so quite quiet.
It isn't cheap, but the quality still makes it excellent value.
