Ramesh and Geeta made our evening very special, the food was delicious, the hospitality very warm and welcoming, We would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wanted a well cooked traditional Indian meal. It's worth the drive to Hythe to sample there delicious cuisine, we will definately be back. Anthony & Simpy MoreOpenTable Diner -
We dined here whilst staying in Hog's Creak shepherds' huts and had a very enjoyable meal and evening. We had pre-drinks and after-dinner coffee in very comfortable bar (in daylight hours, it also has magnificent views). The dining room is cosy and unique with it's animal-based murals; the food was very well prepared and tasty and service friendly and efficient. If staying at one of the different accomodation types at Port Lympne it's definitely worth treating yourself to a meal in the hotel restaurant. MoreOpenTable Diner -
Really, really wanted to give a 5* review of this place but it just missed the mark. We were greeted and seated quickly and menu's and wine list were offered efficiently by a neatly uniformed Maitre de. The choice for mains for the meat eaters was vast but with only two choices for vegetarian (me) I felt a bit deflated. To start my friends ordered carrot and fennel soup and I ordered a Portobello mushroom. Both choices were extremely tasty but could have done with being a bit hotter. Our main course choices were pork with pancetta for my friends and gnocchi (the best I have ever eaten) for me, we also ordered side dishes of fries with parmesan truffle oil and a dish of broccoli. Our main courses arrived but the side dishes didn't; I couldn't attract anyones attention so we started our meals. I finally flagged the waitress but by this time the meals were well under way; the side dishes had been completely missed and had to be re-ordered with this in mind we decided to leave the sides which were removed from the bill. I felt the service was ever so slightly chaotic but by no means bad and it certainly wouldn't stop me going back. Next time I am hoping for a 5* experience. MoreOpenTable Diner -
