Amazing food and atmosphere, took my wife for lunch and we both loved every minute of the experience.

Great food and the service is second to none. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly, professional service and high quality nigiri sushi offerings as always. Not to mention the most expansive sake list in the city. Will be back again.

Some patios in the city have installed these really strong heaters that I think you should try, will be perfect!

Given the current environment, with outside dining only, Ki still maintains excellent, friendly and professional service and outstanding food! Remains one of my favorites in Toronto and it's fantastic that the restaurant has found a way to keep open at least a portion of it.

Too quiet, due to Covid, I assume. Not their fault but liked it better when it was packed. Hope it goes back to normal soon.

Ki never disappoints! Delicious selections of fresh sushi and great recommendations from the waitstaff. Everyone is extremely nice with all of the COVID precautions. We felt very comfortable eating out on the patio. Ki has Patio Heaters (which came in handy) - overall a very nice evening and can't wait until we return!

I was looking forward to coming back to this place and prior experiences had been quite good. But it was an off night for the restaurant I think. Service was slow and was not acknowledged or anything for at least 15 minutes after being seated. No friendly service even when trying to engage server about how glad we were to be back now that restaurants were reopened, we were sitting inside, etc. Had some questions re menu and although questions were answered, there was no conversation, or suggestions or recommendations. One of the sides we ordered with our main was cold. It was a broccoli dish listed with the other hot sides. When questionned, the server said it was supposed to be cold. We did not eat it. Server made no comment when she picked up the full dish of broccoli, no offer to remove from bill or anything. It as clear we did not like the cold broccoli side that we thought would have been hot. All in all it was not a great evening for the price as a first time dining inside post CV19. They can do better.

We chose outdoor seatings and it was a chilly evening. The heater was set up right at the moment we are seated. Sake recommendations were great amongst a good selection of various types. We ordered mostly sushi and they were fresh and tasty.

Simply perfect. We arrived at the venue to celebrate a birthday, and we were met with high quality service and excellent food. I would recommend booking with this restaurant at least once in your lifetime.

Tip: It’s better to order apps and meals to share, to ensure you can try as many flavours as you can!

Food quality I thought was poor. My wagyu beef was so chewy ... wasn’t even worth it. I think my store bought sirloin steak tasted better We tried pork belly skewer which was alright at best. Sushi was cheap tasting for what we paid for. We asked the server for their famous dishes and ordered all his recommendations. I’d rather go to kaka sushi. Came here for my anniversary and i had to go to jabistro for better quality sushi right after.

Been there few times in the past, but my experience on Friday August 28, was terrible, I had that the mixed sashimi bowl, the fish was very smelly and the quality wasn’t there. I wa very disappointed

The food was very good. We especially loved the lobster tempura and spicy tuna rolls.

Very expensive but great food and service is good too

My family went here on Aug 21st for my 23rd birthday. We all had a great time, ordered a variety of different things off of the menu. It was some of the best Japanese food I have ever eaten. We also tried the sake flight, which was amazing. All the food was delicious, service was fast, and the servers were extremely kind and knowledgable. They also gave me a free birthday desert, which was awesome. We would definitely return again.

Great service

We were out on the patio, in the corner super relaxing had a really nice dinner with husband and friends. We tried quite a few things on the menu and we enjoyed most, the only items was the lobster roll and the steak. The steak was quite tough. The items we enjoyed the most was sashimi, modern nigiri, beef Tataki and maguro crispy rice. Honestly all the dishes were amazing with the exception of two. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back. Our waitress was so amazing! And I think it was the manager my shirt was a tad bit low and I had forgotten to bring a safety pin and he had given me his so I could feel more comfortable during dinner. Ps if you like taking pictures of food all the dishes are literally Instagram perfection! The only thing I didn’t get a chance was to take a picture of the modern nigiri. So service 100% food 90%

20th Anniversary!

It's been 5 years since I was last at Ki. Since then, the decor has become tired, servers disinterested, food typical. We ordered an assortment, they were brought out on chipped plates and nothing explained. We couldn't wait to leave.

Excellent food, the wagyu skewers were especially delicious. Also enjoyed the history behind each sake when you order the sake flight. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

We sat at the bar inside. Spacing between guests was generous. Lots of Covid measures were taken and staff was always cleaning. Kat was our bartender and gave us outstanding service. The sushi was incredible and fresh, and the sake flight we ordered was delicious - you can’t get these sakes at the LCBO. Highly recommended.

The overall experience was great! The service truly was amazing and made our dinner so much better. The food preparation and presentation was immaculate. Cannot recommend their sake enough. Would love to try different varieties and surely will as I definitely plan to return. It’s not overly expensive, I would say even cheap for what you’re getting. Great atmosphere all around!
