Very good food but a bit overpriced
Good food and great service...
Bad stomach afterwards but also not very refined.
I had expected more refined and creative food
When I think about Korean BBQ in London, I think about Koba!!
Some of our food and drinks were late. The staff did not seem to even care.
Our first experience of Korean BBQ and we loved it! Delicious food, very nice service, a nice ambience and good value particularly considering the central location.
Really good food and service....attentive and friendly....would go back again.
Not great service, food was very good and flavorful but makes all of your clothing smell for days!
I always get the pork belly barbec
The servers and atmosphere were really nice. But the food were pretty expensive.
Lovely experience! Great food! If you looking for something a bit different be sure to try it.
Only down side was that service was a bit slow and I’m pretty sure our waitron would have rather have been somewhere else but other than that, it was great!
Great foot and fun for children! the meat and the fish are delicious, the marinate and the plain meat are both very good. I liikked also the spicy sauce, not too strong but quite tasty.
Perfect for friends getting together.... food quality and service were outstanding
My third time in Koba. Food was excellent as always and the service very friendly. The only problem was that this time it was fri eve and the noise level got a bit too high for us. It created a bit restles atmosphere and made the conversation with my friends challenging.
The place was cool, with good amount of space for people to eat and be comfortable. I like it. Not too big but not too small. Food was a bit pricey but it's goooood, so i can say worth it. Especially the rib eye! The staff was helpful and friendly. I'd come back for sure!
Quality of the food is amazing!! With a very reasonable price, which is around 25 pounds per person. Service is also excellent, the staffs are very responsible and very helpful on the grill! The food is coming fast with nice plating! I had a very nice birthday dinner and will definitely go back again!!
Most of the foods is not hot enough. A bit expensive for the non alcohol cocktail cause is just a very common and special drinks at all.
I would love to have more selections on the main, but it was tasty whatever you order from the menu
The appetisers were nice but the bbq was average at best and left a lot to be desired. Service was also fairly poor and only more attentive towards the end of service when the restaurant was nearly empty.
The food was good and the staffs were friendly though it took ages to get our orders. Most of the services were extremely slow. Considering the amount of foods we had, it’s fairly pricy too.
Great selection of meat for bbq and the red bean doughnut was incredible. The service was patchy particularly when asking for tap water-we had to ask 4 times and waited for over 45 minutes.
Very nice! Had the marinated Korea BBQ and it was amazing! Would recommend!
Amazing food and amazing service.
Meat quality was on the low side but pricey considering the portion. A basket of lettuce costs more than meat. The side dishes ( banchan ) which is normally complimentary costed more than a portion of ribeye meat.
Wonderful evening! A very warm welcome, fast service and such delicious food! Particularly the kanpoonggi fried chicken and calamari starters and the bulgogi beef and spicy chicken on the bbq with lettuce wraps of course! Can't wait to go back.
It was wonderful, Food was amazing. Even my Korean friend was happy about the food
Great place to go for KBBQ, well worth it with friends
Lovely ambience, with good food - definitely get one of the stews for a hearty, delicious option :)
I lived in Korea for 8 years. This is not like real Korean barbecue. At Koba, you have to pay nearly 8 pounds for Korean side dishes. Plus the other food was too expensive for tiny potions. No lettuce came with the meat to wrap it. Luckily I had my expensive kimchi to "wrap" it in. The gongi-bap was really good, though. And the environment was close enough to be a Korean barbecue restaurant. But overall, big disappointment.
Service is fine in the beginning, but towards to end you feel that they just want you to leave asap. The grill was switched off twice even though the food was not yet well done,,,
Vegetarian options are not outlined on the menu, service was very poor and foor was mediocre. No where else in London does a Kimchi fried rice have meat. I was made to feel like it was my fault that I ordered it, even though it wasn't labelled.
The meat was not good. Incredibly bland, no marinades or flavours coming through.
Go to one of the other many oriental bbq restaurants
Amazing experience! The food was delicious and the staff super caring and kind.
I will definitely recommend it and I will come back soon myself!
Expensive and not that good.
The starters were good, but we ordered the marinated meat combination- the meat was bland. Not our cup of tea
Fantastic food. We ordered the seafood pancake, squid and seaweed salad, raw beef with egg yolk, Bulgogi, spicy chicken BBQ and the mixed ice cream.
Highlights were the raw beef with egg yolk and the black sesame ice cream. Service was fast for a busy Sat night.
Can't wait to go back.
I had a great time, and the food was authentic and tasty!
Very nice little korean restaurant in the heart of London. Great quality food for a fair price. Definitely worth a visit!
korean waiters were friendly and professional. food was nice. overhall a very good experience
Excellent food, very nice experience (again). Service was a little bit slower compared to our last stay. I can recommend it - very nice.
