An intriguing Eastern restaurant in amongst the boutiques and bars of trendy Fitzrovia, Koba is a very different dining prospect.     The food is very good, little bit overpriced thought, you have a lot variety you can decide between BBQ and other dishes, the drinks menu has only Korea products that is totally fine! I suggest to try everything because it is worthy. Service not very attentive but overall was a great lunch experience.

    I was there last Friday, the food was absolutely amazing, lovely and clean ambience and very nice and professional staff. I highly recommend this place :)

    Found this restaurant while exploring the area. This place is amazing! Best Korean food that we have had in a long time - great service too. Highly recommend.

    A little slow but understandable as there was only 2 servers. However, we did see our food ready on the tray for a good 15 mins. Would rather it be served first rather than they be cooking for other tables - no offence, you can always cook for them right away after.. We could have started our meal 15 minutes earlier.

    I would die for Korean bbq. We ordered their meat bbq selection with seafood, for a seafood lover, octopus was a no. However the Bulgogi was amazing! It was probably my favorite. There are a things we can improve here when it comes to value and money but overall its okay.

    The ambience and the quality of the interior was great. It would definitely be considered a high end Korean bbq restaurant. The service was excellent as well. The only downside is that with some of the dishes it was quite bland, in particular the seafood noodle soup. We had to put a lot more salt in it. The price is quite high but I guess you can expect that given it’s a place with nicer interior and ambience. The only thing that was severely oversized is the soju. Very very expensive! If you want a true authentic Korean bbq experience this place is probably not the way to go but if you want somewhere that is abit more nicer and the higher end then I recommend this place.

    Such a pleasant and wonderful time, great to be able to experience Koba once again. This is my fifth time and everytime I go it still surprises me to be excellent in all they offer and provide. Delicious and outstanding tasting food, brilliant and attentive members of staff. Beautiful atmosphere. Just a perfect night out at the best Korean BBQ.

    Authentic Korean BBQ style food and place with individual BBQ grills at the table in front of you and a pull-down pull-up extractor above the grill so that the place doesn't end up smelling of the cooking food. Two of us shared a platter of (mainly) mixed meats which was good value, fresh and tasty. We also shared a starter of a stuffed aubergine, and this was delicious. Main criticism is it seems strange there were few vege options to accompany the meats - our platter came with a couple of slim pieces of pumpkin and some onion and there were no side orders of veg that we could also BBQ - very odd and a great opportunity for Koba to do this. One friend ordered a vegan dish (the range is very limited) but she really enjoyed it.

    Food was absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. Second time coming here and definitely will return. The staff is so attentive and last time one of the waiters thought that the kimchi didn’t look fresh so he immediately brought me another portion which indeed tasted nicer and fresher. The overall experience definitely made my friends birthday a great evening out. Thank you 😊 Andrea

    Really enjoyable night out having Korean BBQ. Service was great my only small gripe was the waitresses lack of knowledge of the Korean wine.

    The food was good, however the service was incredibly slow. We had one beer with our meal and when we requested another beer we had to remind the waitress three times to bring it. Our drinks came after our meal, we then attempted to order desert and once we got the waitress attention she said we can’t have desert as they needed our table back. Considering we had not used the allocated 1.5 hrs for a couple,and the waitress delayed us, and there was 4 empty tables and nobody waiting in line, I thought this was incredibly rude and shocking service! I regret paying the service charge. Do not book this restaurant for a special occasion or if you want to enjoy a drink with your meal.

    I really enjoyed my time at Koba. I've been to a couple Korean BBQs in London and none have offered an authentic feel and in them I have often left smelling of food. KOBA had extractors so the food never wafted and the staff were always on hand to help and assist in cooking the meats which again I haven't had in other places, where I was left to my own devices. The staff were very attentive and nice, and the food was delicious, I would say value for money is in the platter style bbq. Drinks are super expensive though, the Soju bottle was the standard small bottle and it was near £20! Other than that, loved my experience and will definitely return.

    I enjoyed the food, it was very good, having been to Seoul I've found it hard to find a decent Korean bbq place in London. My only gripe is that it is quite pricey if you want single items, you're better off getting the platter.

    Koba never disappoints, the food quality is excellent, the personnel very kind and efficient, the atmosphere is cozy. I use to come to the restaurant every time I wish to spend a relaxed evening with a friend, enjoying the best koren bbq in London, in my opinion.

    Food was excellent but the service not so great. We were meant to have our table for an hour and half and were rushed through our meal from the moment we sat down. Even had our grill turned off before the last bit of meat was cooked.
