Food and service were excellent . They do a nice job of social distancing.
This is a wonderful experience-type restaurant. There is elegance to the atmosphere without making it seem stuffy. They have options at most price points, the wine list can be overwhelming, even to an oenophile, however, the wine Stewart is knowledgeable and was a great help with our experimental(to us) selection, if you would prefer to order by the glass there is also a wide-ranging selection. The cocktails are creative and well made. The food was exceptional and the portions generous. A beautiful experience.
Brunch at the Krebs is fabulous! Portions are huge and served by an enthusiastic staff. Every dish was served fresh, flavorful and beautifully arranged.
Best birthday brunch!
Sunday brunch was outstanding. Enjoyable atmosphere; fantastic menu selection. We need gluten free options; in the future we'll ask in advance to ensure the need can be satisfied.
Very fancy dinner with a lot of choices to indulge you're palette. Impressive array of wines and portion sizes were on point for value.
Great restaurant, great food and great setting. We would definitely come back.
The best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The food was also amazing!
Fantastic food and incredible service
Some of the best food and service I've ever experienced. Despite the resturant bring an hour away, I will 100% be returning and soon. Try the tenderloin. It is hands down the best steak I've ever had in my entire life.
We make it back actually for a special event. The service, cocktails, food and ambiance are just perfect. She has the stick, I had the tenderloin. I started with the tuna tartar. It was all phenomenal
Great place for a special occasion. Very attentive wait staff.
Food and cocktails were excellent ! Michael and his team were exceptional !
Rarely is a restaurant experience perfect on all levels as it is at The Krebs.
Krebs 1899 is on point with fine fining. They have discovered a way to provide all of the polish and detail of a high end experience without being pretentious. The menu offerings are identifiable, while imparting interesting elements that explore new places on your palate. A balance of selections allow for some comfortable classics, as well as a trendy opportunity for culinary adventure. The service is professional and the team shows attention to detail, keeping the table well manicured with a respectful and quiet approach. The only problem we had is that we live too far away to visit every week. Nicely done Krebs 1899!
There is eating out and there is Fine Dining out! Krebs is Fine Dining with prices, while not low, that are in keeping with CNY values!
So close to a Michelin rated European fine dining experience; impressive for the area. Looking forward to our next visit!
Excellent atmosphere, outstanding attention to detail, amazing food, and great company. Thanks for having us.
Amazing food and place to celebrate Valentine’s Day! We will be back!!
Everything spectacular. Michael, Beth and everyone 2nd to none!!
Excellent brunch options (french toast and chicken waffles favorites) and the best drinks. Manhattans and sazeracs to die for. Outstanding service starting with the hostess (name?) and the wait staff. Special shout out to Trevor supported by Adolfo and Beth who quietly and deftlu managed our sometimes loud party of 6. Thank you!
Another amazing experience
Wonderful! The staff was friendly, the food sublime and the decor beautiful and so cozy.
Had a lovely birthday/valentines dinner at the Krebbs, the food was excellent, service was very attentive and friendly. My only ding would be that the chocolate torte that we had for desert was so rich we could have used more of the delicious ice cream with it.
I would come back in a heartbeat.
The "specials" are always wonderful. We loved the creamed spinach and the ahi tuna bowl.
Salmon and the pork chop were awesome.
The entire staff does a great job. It was nice to see Kim!
Under the current circumstances we felt the Krebs wasn’t up to its usual standards. We waited a while for our main dishes. They reason being a large group had slowed the kitchen staff. My husbands fish which he loves was undercooked. The waiter did apologize and offered a dessert to make amends. Though he meant only one dessert which we later found out when we got the bill. The crème brûlée was very good however the chocolate cake dessert felt like it had been around awhile being dry and tasteless. They also took the no dining after 10pm to the extreme. We barely had time to finish dessert and our drinks before being pushed out the door. Since this dining experience the dining rule is now 11pm. We do enjoy this restaurant and hope they can get back to their regular high standards soon.
Service was impeccable, attentive, and not overbearing. The food was some of the best I’ve eaten. It was prepared with technical excellence and was a testament to the skill of the chefs. Ingredients were of great quality. Seasonal drinks were well balanced and creative.
Everything was fabulous. Food delicious, drinks scrumptious and the service extraordinary. They go out of their way to make you welcome!!
Michael and Raul phenomenal!
A beautiful setting for Sunday brunch :) staff was very friendly.
Great place to go when you are in Skaneateles. The service and food was fantastic. I would recommend the brunch. The best one I have been to in a long time.
What an extraordinary dining experience. From ambiance to taste, Le Krebs is a great find. The wait staff was extremely accommodating and always available without hovering.
We thoroughly enjoyed our food and wine-extremely generous portions. The restaurant has several rooms and generously spaces tables among the rooms. We felt safe and privileged to be dining there.
Even in the midst of a pandemic, The Krebs is still a lovely place to dine. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, therefore for brunch when we might have preferred dinner, but the shareable deviled eggs, shrimp-and-grits, spinach-and-cheese omelette, and fried chicken were winners all around. Tiramisu and espresso custard ushered us away quite delighted. Lotus is a bright and energetic maître d. Trevor was our polite and very attentive waiter. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, the team-service at table is efficient (my coffee cup never ran dry), and all current social protocols are adhered to. We already look forward to our return to try some of the beef items on the dinner menu. Highly recommended for small and larger groups -- we three were seated where we could see a table of six in the next room. Plentiful parking is available in the back. The tradition carries on!
Excellent service. Main course (daily special) wasn’t up to their usual standard and was graciously removed from our bill. Will definitely return.
It couldn't have been better. We brought friends for their Anniversary. Food was beyond delicious, best short ribs and fried chicken ever. 2 entrees and a bottle of wine special, fabulous. The service was 2nd to none, Brooke, Michael and our beer sommmelier were so attentive, and made sure that we were well taken care of. I can't recommend them enough.
The Krebs is always a wonderful dining experience, and tonight was no exception! Whether it’s cocktails and snacks, dinner, or brunch; I always enjoy being in this beautiful place. The service, ambience, and food quality never disappoints.
Exceptional in every possible way!!
If you go for brunch, you HAVE to try the cinnamon roll starter! It was the best cinnamon roll I have ever had!
My French toast was perfect and my BF's omelet was amazing!
We never felt rushed and just enjoyed brunch, sitting by the fireplace! What a perfect way to spend a winter day in Upstate NY!
would have loved a better explanation of what the entry included
otherwise great service.
It’s a nice option for Brunch! If you are looking for a nice low key place to have brunch it’s worth a try.
First time at Krebs and it was great! We went for Sunday brunch. They brought a complementary basket to the table with homemade muffins, all different flavors, to start us out.We had a craft of mimosas and 4 different entrees, Eggs Benedict on crab was delicious, plenty of crab. Fried chicken came out perfect,Giant burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were some of the best. Also a flat bread with salmon was very tasty.
Service was perfect, can’t come up with anything negative to say.
The Krebs is beautiful. tip of the day would be, to request a table by one of the fireplaces when making a reservation. Will be back again.
