Would highly recommend, amazing tasting menu. The twice cooked octopus, cod and steak courses were particular favourites and the wine flight complemented the food perfectly.
A particular stand out was the service, friendly and attentive and on a par with best we’ve had in Manchester
Good little tapas restaurant. Waiter knew his stuff about the dishes. Order the house red wine - the others are too pricey and the house wine is good enough.
Fantastic about sums the place up! Food was delicious, staff very welcoming and friendly, I couldn’t recommend the place enough. The Best tapas in Manchester! X
The most amazing Tapas I’ve had outside of Spain. Delicious food, wonderful staff and just a brilliant atmosphere. Would highly recommend!
Went for partners birthday.
Decided we'd go for the taster menu which was delicious, plus someone explained the paired wines with each course. Service was nicely timed & attentive.
Only issue of the night was a loud couple of children who started running around towards the end of the night. Wouldn't have thought it was the place for young kids.
Overall tho a very nice change from the usual Italian fare!
Fab evening celebrating a friends birthday. We had the taster menu and it was all delicious; perfectly cooked with lots of different flavours. There wasn't one dish we didn't like and it was also great value for money. The service was also excellent, with all staff bring friendly, helpful and accommodating. The only downside was when we arrived our table wasn't ready and we had to wait at the bar, the bar was very busy and we were unable to get a drink. However, we were thanked for our patience later during the evening when we were give a free round of drinks. Can't wait to go back
Loved our dinner here, have wanted to come for ages and it didn’t disappoint. Sat in the bar area and had some ather rude people that came to sit next to us who were quickly moved on. Really busy and bustling and food lovely. Best part of the evening was the wonderful service. We can’t wait to come again!
Lovely to find authentic Spanish food - particularly La Bandera’s Canary Islands twist - in Manchester. The mojo sauces with potatoes were as addictive as those we have sampled in Tenerife! Prawns were very well seasoned and the duck with a citrus/jammy sauce was excellent. Expert guidance from the waiter on wine choices really complemented the dishes. Overall my new favourite restaurant.
Excellent.. Really enjoyed everything we had to eat. The waiters we very professional and attentive. Will be returning often with more of my friends. I spend a lot of time in the canaries and love Spanish food
Absolutely fabulous meal for my son's graduation, could not fault the food or service which was pitched at just the right level. The only negative thing I can say is that we won't be in Manchester for a long time or else would definitely book again!
Absolutely fantastic evening! Staff were brilliant and the food was outstanding. Two of us had the tasting menu and wine flight, two had tapas. All fantastic! Cannot recommend more highly.
Average food, terrible service. Waiters got our order wrong numerous times, we had to ask for water repeatedly and at the end of our meal, we were brought the wrong bill three times. Avoid until their staff have had some training.
a great find. fab lunch. food was amazing. will be returning
Amazing food, especially croquetas was real good, so was my non alcoholic cocktail. Nice bright yellow furniture. I would definitely go back.
Incredible Spanish food with a lot of flavour and great value for money! I will definitely come back for some more Tapas at La Bandera. The staff is incredibly friendly and they make sure you have a great experience.
Really great food. A couple of colleagues said they didn’t like squid, but they loved it here and ordered another plate!
Really great friendly service where nothing was too much trouble.
Really nice atmospher and a good eveing
Excellent Spanish food, one of the best in town. Great service and nice cosy setting. Definitely visit again.
Lovely restaurant, pleasant and helpful staff and very reasonably priced.
Great authentic food, very nicely presented with excellent friendly service from the staff!
This is easily the best Tapas restaurant in Manchester, indeed it is one of the top 5 in Manchester City Centre. We have been in for “just tapas” and also their taster menu with wine flight which has to be one of the best value for money eating experiences you could find.
Amazing food and fantastic service from edd he was very knowledgeable and eager to please .highly recommended
Visited La Bandera for Father's Day, the staff and owner / manager were extremely friendly and attentive and the food was excellent, would definitely recommend and will be visiting again
The best tapas in the north west, the place is spotless, the food is immaculate, the staff are really friendly and informative, it is my favourite restaurant
Excellent food, drink and service as always we’ve been coming here since it opened and never been disappointed
The food was out of this world. The place was relaxed and the staff were attentive. I would recommend La Bandera to anyone and everyone.
Quiet late lunch served by friendly and attentive staff. Great food. Ambience was probably let down due to time of day we were the only customers.
Faultless........ The best tapas and sangria I've had in Mcr
Lovely tapas for a lazy lunch with a friend or romantic evening.
Fantastic food extremely good value.will definitely return
Very good taster menu made even better with the wine flight.
Absolutely loved it here! Wonderful food, fairly priced and brilliant service. Definitely recommend it to others
Visited with my parents after a show in town.
They are quite opinionated about food so it’s always a challenge finding something to suit them.
Everyone agreed that the food was outstanding, as was the service.
I had the 7 course tasting menu which was delicious and not too filling.
We would all return and are already recommending this place to our friends.
Visited on Saturday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary, led to table and seated. Ordered Tapas and a jug of Sangria. Food was tasty and enjoyable. Only minor complaint was that the starter came and tapas followed before we had chance to eat it, so that part of the evening felt a bit rushed. Tapas dishes came thick and fast, couldn’t fault the quality of the food.
Truly superb food as always. All staff are extremely polite and very attentive.
The best tapas in Manchester! Worth visiting especially if you are in love with Canaries. Great wines!
Bit disappointed on our visit. My partner and I got the tasting menu. For the first three wines we had a great waiter who gave us some interesting information. Unfortunately we felt incredibly rushed through the meal despite there being plenty of free tables the whole night. Several times the next round of wine and food came before we'd finished our current wine which I thought was really poor. Further, while the croquettes were amazing the honey chicken was overcooked (a lot) and the sorbet was mostly liquid which made me think it had been sitting around. Overall for the price I paid I expected a lot better.
The waitress was very helpful in advising us of the dishes. The food was beautiful authentic fine dining Spanish cuisine. All in all, a great experience.
Service was excellent restaurant was quietish probably as we booked for 2:30 which is after lunch and before dinner. Meal was very good starters and main. Have been before and tried the tapas which was excellent. Nice ambience to the place.
Tasty tapas as always, service cannot be faulted. Best tapas in town by far and possibly the best service too!
Had the taster menu. Food was good apart from 2 of our party had flatiron steak which was chewy. Also service was very rushed and rather bizarre. At the end we felt as though the restaurant were just desperate for us to vacate the table and settle the bill.
