My 60th birthday dinner
even though I forgot to use my appetizer coupon everything was great very helpful and pleasant staff.
Our server was excellent. Very professional. I also saw him doing the due diligence to really scrub down a table after it's been used to limit the possibility of any germs/virus's from spreading.
Food had no flavor and when me and my friends walked in, us being black, we were stared at the entire time.
Lovely evening with friends. Great bar selection plus half price bottles of wine on Thursdays. Always excellent meals and this was no different, from appetizers to salads to main courses (we skipped dessert). We will continue to return.
Food was really good and didn’t disappoint. Dessert was even better.
To start with, parking was pretty bad but that wasn't too important. It was a beautiful place with a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed looking around and seeing all the decorations beautiful furniture and lightning. Service is another area that I really enjoyed, friendly wait staff that seemed to know what they were talking about.
I really only had 2 problems with the restaurant. First was the claustrophobic seating. They sat us at a corner table squeezed in with two other tables making getting in and out way too uncomfortable, not to mention ruined our ability to enjoy a nice night out. We may as well have been on a double date with the table next to us.
Then the main problem was the food. Just didn't seem worth it for the price tag. Caesar salad was completely wilted, soggy and no croutons cheese or anything else in it. The rack of lamb I got was completely unseasoned and tasteless which includes the bland mushroom sauce along with it. Short rib raviolis were also unseasoned and just didn't seem to work at all, can't say tasteless but the taste made it unappetizing and hard to eat. Brussel sprouts seemed undercooked and again unseasoned. The potatoes were the only thing that seemed to have any kind of seasoning and was cooked better than everything else but that was about it. We would have liked to get dessert but really didn't want to take the chance of being dissatisfied with anymore food and decided to just pick something up at Wawa instead.
Really wanted to enjoy this beautiful place, but the food was a real let down. As my wife said the service made me smile but the food made me cry.
I hadn't been to this restaurant in years. Thought I'd give it another try. Very disappointed. Food was subpar at best for the money. Crab dip appetizer was about 3/4 cup worth and was bland ($18 woah) Ordered chicken parm and ask for spaghetti with olive oil instead of sauce (which either supposedly came with the meal) and was charged $5.00 more? $5.00 on top of a $22.00 entrée that is supposed to come with a side. Also, my daughter was asked if she'd like more wine after her glass was empty, and the waitress completely ignored the fact that my glass of soda was empty. She never asked me if I wanted another. Nothing irks me more than not having my drinks refilled. I don't ask much of wait staff, but my pet peeve, is not refilling drinks at a timely pace. We only went because we dined at Chesapeake Inn for Thanksgiving and received a red envelope to open at the table upon returning to one of their establishments to win a prize inside. Was excited to see what it was all this time. The waitress said they've all been free apps or desserts. Wahoo, big surprise. Lots of restaurants give those coupons without waiting 2 months to open them right at the table. I definitely won't be returning. It was $80.00 wasted.
We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your visit with us the other day. At your convenience, could you please call the restaurant and ask for the manager on duty so that we may fully address the disconnects. I was not able to find any check for $80 on the 25th and our crab and artichoke dip is $13. We would love the opportunity to make it right. Thank you for your time.
Everything was great! Service, greeting, wine temperature, food quality, the works!
I suggest that they refrain from using cherry gelato in their affagato The chocolate was the best!
We always strive to exceed expectations here! We can certainly ensure you have all chocolate in your next affogato! Your feedback means a lot.
Delicious food and great server (James). Very professional and attentive.
We are proud of our team. Thanks for the shout out!
First time visiting this place. Food was amazing and dessert was even better. My leftovers reheated well the next day and was just as good.
We love the food here but every time we go I make reservations and wind up getting the worst seat in the house. I don’t know why I make reservations when I’m just going to be sitting whatever is available anyway. I also wish there was some sort of dress code . People sat next to us with baseball Hats on and literally filthy. I consider this restaurant upscale .... but the clientele that goes is not !
Even with a reservation they said it would be a 20 minute wait, at 8:45 at night. People were lining the walls and the wait area was packed. We left.
As always, La Casa Pasta did not disappoint. Great food, great atmosphere and great service!
As always it was delicious!!! We went on Valentine's Day with another couple. It was very busy, but our food still came out on time and hot. There was no lag in service. I was really very impressed considering how busy they were. It was definitely top notch. Can't wait to go back again and will probably be our spot for Valentine's Day from here on out.
The food was very good and the ambiance of the restaurant was even better. If you want good Italian food this is the place to go.
The food was excellent and the service was timely and engaging.
Brought my wife here for an early Valentines Day dinner. Started with glasses of Chianti and red Sangria, both very good. Caesar and Arugula/beets salads were fresh and crisp with nice, bright dressings made in house. Fettuccine Bolognese and Crab stuffed flounder with shrimp in a scampi sauce were our entrees. The pastas and seafood were cooked perfectly, and the sauces were nicely balanced and seasoned. The fresh breads came in handy - we both sopped up the sauces with them that’s how tasty they were. We shared a homemade traditional Tiramisu and finished off our meals with coffee and a double espresso. Delicious! Great food, service and atmosphere as always. This is one of the best and most consistent restaurants in the area. If you want authentic Italian food done well this is the place! Can’t wait to come back!
Always a great time. Great food and great service. Corey was amazing! Our go-to spot for authentic Italian food.
Excellent service-thanks to Ted and Lexi. Food was amazing. The best broccoli rabe and sausage. Decadent meat platter. Other guests had the flounder stuffed with crab, gnocchi and ravioli. Dessert was a nice ending to a wonderful evening. Coconut sorbet, passion fruit sorbet, and amaretto tiramisu were delicious.
I took my boyfriend there for his birthday. Nice place, great service. Food was alright, a little over priced in my opinion. Most meals come with pasta in red sauce, I wanted to substitute the red sauce for oil and garlic and that was a $5 charge. Servings are, well, true servings. The best part of the meal was the chef cobbler (peach). Overall, it was a good meal/date. It was nice to try somewhere different.
Enjoyable meal. Wanda was an excellent server and very attentive. Recommend the amaretto tiramasu desert
Food is always well made and delicious! Service is incredible and atmosphere is wonderful, whether you are on an intimate date or with your family! Love this place!
Except for not being able to fix my dinner the way I wanted it, and I had to order something else, everything was good. Our waiter didn't show up very often at our table, and there where times when we wanted something. Other than that we had a good dinner.
Food is amazing
What a wonderful dining experience. Could not say enough about the atmosphere, food, music and servers. If you are looking for a great evening, look no further.
Large portion for their lasagna selection. Very tasty and filling. I always take half of it home to enjoy the next day.
Always can count on good food and service.
We had the best server you could ask for Lexi was outstanding as was the food and drink
Food was excellent and the service was outstanding!
Wasn't crazy about the fish special. Normally love the food so this won't stop me from going back
As always the food and the service at La Casa Pasta never disappoints. It was New Years
Eve and they were booked solid but we never felt rushed and everything was excellent.
Never disappointed with a dinner at LaCasa Pasta. Consistently good.
Food was great!
Met with three friends from High School (we graduated from Concord in 1974 & from the U of D in 1978). We had a great table and an awesome server! Food is always awesome!
Christmas eve with parents
We had Christmas Eve dinner at La Casa Pasta and everything was wonderful. The place was very festive, we got a great family picture by the tree. Our waiter was great and the food was delicious and just the right portion size. We have been a La Casa Pasta for dinner in the past and would recommend going!!
The place was tooooooo jammed. Squeezing too many people into too small of a space. We had six people at a table that should have held four. No room for anything.
Also, while I understand the menu is standard, and no substitutions allowed, given the holiday and everything, BUT - we asked for a plate of food with the sauce on the side, instead of on the pasta. They could not accommodate that, but were able to leave mushrooms off a different dish. Crazy!
I have been going to La Casa Pasta for three decades and while the food is still great, the service is horrible and rushed, and the atmosphere is too loud and casual for the price. They have been going down hill from a customer experience perspective ever since they reopened after the fire a few years back. I just want the old La Casa Pasta back!!!!
