La Casa Pasta

Chef and Owner Giuseppe Martuscelli's roots and knowledge of fine foods and wines originated in the town of Santa Maria Di Castellabate near Salerno, Italy. Giuseppe came to America with the Italian Navy in 1967 and returned to stay in 1973, settling in Newark, Delaware to open La Casa Pasta in 1978.
Since then, he has made it his goal to serve only the most authentic Northern and Southern Italian foods. Each year, he travels back to his homeland and beyond to learn new recipes and import ingredients not to be found in the states.

I went for my birthday. The food, service and dining experience was Great!!
Dinner was awesome.
Sat too close to anther couple and they were
Minding out business and not theirs.
This restaurant is amazing. It never disappoints. We’ve been dining here for many years and we are always pleased!
The food was excellent as usual. We tried some different dishes this time, and all were delicious. Our grand daughter who had never been there before was very impressed.
This has some of the best authentic Italian food in the area, as good as my mother's.
For the first time we had to send food back. Service usually good was lacking.hopefully better next time.
The waiter was great, his boss talked to much and talked down on the waiter, we were on a date, we needed space to chat.
Loved it. The Exotic Bomba dessert was amazing!!!!
Fantastic food!! Can’t wait to return and bring the whole family.
I had a surprise party for my husband and I had a party of 15. It was seem less and perfect. The staff went out of their way to make it special and a true surprise. It was an evening with family and friends that I won’t forget any time soon.
Thanks LaCasa Pasta!!
Server did not clear the table be fore coffee came.
A bit noisy, but food & service were terrific!! Loved everything else about it
Excellent and Amy was awesome.
Everything was perfect.
Had a great time great food and great service.
Delicious food, excellent service, just noisy because we were seated next to their banquet room that had a graduation party. Once the party was over, all was good.
So, we went to La Casa Pasta for mother's day 2021. We were a little early for our reservation. They sat us at a table where we were ignored for 20 minutes. We finally got water and bread. Then about another 10 minutes our waiter finally came over to take our order. We were there for an hour and half and we only had 2 courses for 4 people. Terrible service.
Everything was great for our Mothers Day experience.
Food was ok.
Excellent service and food! Have been here many times over the years and will return.
Service great , open table reservation great , pasta sucked
The food is always great and the service matched the food. Our favorite restaurant locally that we have been going to for over 35 years
Met with a very nice greeting, server was very friendly and helpful on menu items. Lighting was very dark had to use phone for light to see menu. We ordered the Arancini rice balls for an appetizer would highly recommend them, My husband's dish was hot and serving size was great . My fish was to be prepared table side but came out in dish, was two small filets and was only warm. I know an espresso is not a big amount but it seemed the demitasse cup wa less than 1/2 full. Dessert was very good.
Went for 40th anniversary overall a good evening wouldn't say it was a perfect anniversary meal. Would like to go back at some point.s
Always good food , excellent service, pleasant dining experience
Our first dinner with good friends in more than a year. Tables were well spread out and vigorously cleaned between patrons. As usual, the service was impeccable, our meals were excellent, the entire environment was relaxed and leisurely. We will return.
Great COVID protocols applied for safety. Food was terrific. We had Shrimp Scampi, Veal Saltimbuca, and chicken parmigiana plus Italian board. All good
The best Veal Parmigiana I have ever had. The caesar salad was excellent, I haven't had one that good since they stopped making them table side.
The food, service and adult beverage were incredible. I sat at the bar. My only feedback is a very outdated , old restroom. Given the clientele, the restaurant truly fails to improve the facilities.
The white wine (Pinot Grigio) was not good. There were not multiple choices, so that was what was served. Other than that wine, our entrees were all very tasty and Wanda was an efficient and professional server.
I feel that with the climate being what it is and with so many other choices, LaCasa Pasta needs to refresh everything from their decor to the food and the appearances of the wait staff. I would give it another chance and order something different than what I chose on this occasion. Going out to eat during the pandemic is a big deal with regards to safety and the cost. Nothing irks me more than paying a lot for food and going home disappointed.
Great meal, as always!
You can never go wrong with a tender veal, but every time we go there the food is excellent and the attention to detail, always my favorite place to celebrate special occasions .
Our meals were delicious and were prepared exactly as described. Our server, I believe his name is Cole, was friendly, professional and attentive. The meal was to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we were happy afterward that we chose to celebrate at La Casa Pasta.
We visit La Casa Paste one or two times a month. The food is delicious and the same quality every time without fail. Staff is professional and friendly and will do whatever they can to resolve any issues. This restaurant was not taken over by some "restaurant group" as another person said. The Martuscelli restaurant group is the same family who opened the restaurant and has always owned it. Someone said the food was better when Giuseppe was in the kitchen. Well he's still there but I believe is down at the Chesapeake Inn which they also own most of the time. If anyone had messed with his recipes or processes I think they would hear about it. Yes we are perhaps biased but we would not give them our business an average of 20 times a year or recommend them to anyone if they were not great. Try them yourselves and you be the judge. :)
Restaurant was busy and still quiet due to table spacing. Great drinks, great meals, great service. What more could you want?
That restaurant NEVER disappoints. It was delicious and I can't wait to go back. Love La Casa Pasta
It made my birthday pert!
This particular night was a little more crowded then it has been over the last year, but still not at full capacity, and we felt very rushed. The waiter brought out our salads while we were still enjoying our appetizers. We had to ask him to slow it down, as we didn't want to be rushed through our dinner.
Wonderful evening out. Food was amazing. Service was amazing. I highly recommend the Muscles Fra Diavolo as an appetizer.
It was okay nothing like years ago Food was much better when Giuseppe was in the kitchen
Great food. Great service. Always a pleasure. We will definitely be back.
