Best brunch I’ve been so far! Food was great and drink were delicious but a bit over priced a bit but great atmosphere too
great service and nice staff. food was plentiful but not as flavorful as i had hoped. overall we had a great time and i would definitely pass the word along. seemed like they have a regular group of clients so that's a plus.
I went to this restaurant for a date night.
Great food, Great service. Will definitely visit again!
Richard is the best
Great food! Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice outdoor dining option.
La Palapa remains the best Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood. They run a very professional and friendly operation, with great food in a pleasant atmosphere. I'm always glad I came here.
Great vibes and great food! A little pricey for the area but overall worth it for the friendly and accommodating service. Will definitely be back!
The service was great! We enjoyed the meal, the recommendations, and the ambience. Would go back again!
A lovely evening! Delicious food, margaritas and lovely waiters.
Deelish vegan plate. Fresh and tasty.
I booked a large group of 20 of friends/colleagues in town for a conference. Service was impeccable especially given the size of our group, everyone raved about the food, and the price was right on budget!
Very good food! very good brunch special, thank you!
I had heard great things and was very excited to try La Palapa with a group of friends. There were 10 of us and we were seated in the back room with another large group which wasn't ideal since the vibe back there is not as nice as the main room, but I understood since there were so many of us. The drinks and food were fine, but the service was disappointing. Again, I understand that we were a large group but requests needed to be made numerous times, food was late and then we were given the incorrect bill twice. My friend who was paying received the bill, gave her credit card and then was given a receipt for a much higher amount. She questioned this and then the waiter came back another time with a different bill, again for a higher amount. We reviewed the final bill and made sure that it was accurate but it was still quite frustrating for our party to be sitting through this time-consuming process and ultimately be given multiple incorrect bills. I will likely not come back here.
The shrimp quesadilla were amazing and so was the mango margs. The place was really loud but hey it was happy hour.
Great brunch menu. Reasonable and tasty. We’ll be going back there soon for a THIRD brunch.
cheyenne we will miss you!
Delicious, fresh, and innovative cooking. I come back here when I'm in the area.
Lovely tasty food pleasant atmosphere!
Host was very nice and accommodating to our group. We weren’t just a number to them and they cared about our experience. Great service.
Perfect evening with family or friends. Great for groups. Food is AMAZING.
Even though chilaquiles were not on the dinner menu, the chef accommodated my request. All of our food was very good, the service was excellent, our waitress Mer was charming and Richard, the manager, came to our table several times to make sure everything was ok. Thank you Palapa, we will be back.
Food is excellent, love the drinks, love the atmosphere! Thank you!
Great spot and amazing food!
Went on a Sunday night. We ordered Guacamole and chips which were very good. I had the chicken enchilada with red mole sauce and it was outstanding. My wife had a couple flour tacos which were very good. Margaritas were very good. Friendly, attentive service. Nice ambiance.
We are semi regulars at La Palapa and are always treated so well! I highly recommend it!
Our entries came out less than five minutes after our appetizers- no room on the table and had to eat the hot food before it got cold, leaving an inabilities to enjoy the guacamole and veggies
Very nice restaurant. Sunday brunch fruit salad, huevos rancheros, and Bloody Mary were generous, delicious, and a very reasonable $18. Also very tasty—avocado toast and a dish of brisket, beans, and rice. Terrific service and warm and friendly atmosphere. Recommend!
La Palapa never disappoints. Amazing food and excellent service! Can’t wait to go back.
Great brunch place , food and service
Great night out with friends. Friendly staff. Made us feel so welcome !
Always a great experience here! Friendly staff! Recommend to anyone looking for good authentic Mexican food!
Best things were the ambience and the service. The food was great although the fish tacos were bland- not a huge compliant though. My first draft beer was flat & warm but the server had no problem switching it for something better. Tequila prices seem high. It should be cheaper to have some shots in the ev. It was a special occasion, though, so we didn’t pay much attention. I will definitely go back.
The toilet situation is a struggle but the overall restaurant is amazing. Cheyenne (not sure how it’s spelled) is amazing! Definitely worth the visit.
This was the second time we have come to celebrate our yearly sibling Christmas brunch and we had a very good time. The food and the drinks were very good. We’re even thinking of even going back next year.
I came with a party of 5 and we had a really unpleasant experience. I wish I had done more research and made a reservation somewhere else. We ordered from the brunch menu, $18 for an entree including a drink. It took almost an hour for the food to come, and it was really poor. Huevos Rancheros was sour, something I had never experienced before. Other members of my party ordered the burrito bowl which was cold upon being served. Margaritas tasted like lime juice, not even a hint of tequila. Brunch was supposed to include a seasonal fruit platter, none of which we received, but we watched other tables be served them. If I could go back in time I would've read the Yelp reviews and maybe made brunch at home instead.
Hadn’t been to La Palapa in years and was so happy that it was just as great an experience as the last time! Food was fabulous and our waitress was great. Their homemade margaritas are amazing - we had a ginger and a tamarind and they were delicious! The owners have also gone the extra mile to make it a quiet place to dine by putting audio panels on the ceiling. I highly recommend this place!
Great foods. Really great margaritas. Looking forward to going back and trying more flavors of the margaritas.
We loved our first-ever meal at this fabulous fun restaurant! It all got off to a great start with terrific margaritas with aquas frescas (Mexican Coke for the teenager!), delicious guacamole, and queso fundido with chorizo. Shrimp with mole and steak entrees were delicious. Friendly, warm service all around. We'll be back soon!
