The service was very attentive and swift. Food great. A lovely venue.

Arrived 15 minutes early but seated immediately. At same time order was taken and drinks arrived inside 5 minutes. Meal arrived inside 15 minutes and was superb. Even my wife ate her whole meal including sweet course which is unusual for her. Cannot fault this experience one bit and will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff

We were disappointed to be asked to leave before we were ready,but we had been there the best of two hours.This has never happened before.

I would recommend going in as late as possible. It was manic when we went in and were shown to table straight away. And given menus but it was at least 15 mins before we were asked about a drink and we actually got the two drinks one of which was tap water after 40 mins even after the arrival of our starters which were 36 mins. Can not fault the food and the fact it is busy shows the food is good but a lot of tables emptied about 8.30 so prob a good time to arrive would be then. Staff all friendly and pleasant just very busy

Fantastic atmosphere, reminds me of traditional family tavernas I used to visit growing up in Greece. Food is great and the staff are helpful and accommodating. It's lively and bustling, which I love. One of my favourite places to go!

Always an excellent experience for the taste buds, we take our two children and the pasta and pizza are brilliant, so are the deserts. Love this place!

I've been to the Pergola a number of times and have always had very good food. Unfortunately if you go in the evening the service is very slow and it's very noisy.

The food is outstanding.

The service is good but we were left waiting for longer than expected to make our initial drinks order and then our meal order. Other than that, we would return.

Authentic Italian restaurant with really good food and service. The pizzas are amazing. This was our first visit but will definitely go back there soon.

We visited as a group of 8 last Saturday and unfortunately must have visited on a down day as I believe the restaurant is normally reviewed well. 5 of our party of 8 opted for pizza which was very poor. Crust was too hard to cut and centre was soggy. To be fair we didn’t complain at the time as we were celebrating my mums 81st, her treat and I didn’t want to upset her by complaining. Deserts were delicious and service was good

Very friendly. Views through to the kitchen and the pizza oven are fun. Staff could have been a bit more attentive but no real problem. Food was authentic Italian and excellent. Coffee was very good too.

Best Italian food outside of Italy. I have been going here for years and am yet to be disappointed by a meal at la pergola. Fantastic restaurant with lovely friendly staff, a proper family feel and authentic cuisine which comes second to none!

Great food, good value for money and a really busy environment. The noise levels at time can be a little high but it’s worth it and some enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are very good in general, they do seem overworked at times but this does not affect the quality of the food.

Very busy for a weekday and short staffed meant slow service. However they were very friendly when they had a chance and the food was great. Will go again 100%.

We were so excited about our booking - it was my daughter's 16th birthday family dinner, and the restaurant had been highly recommended. The food was poor quality, the service was appallingly slow (one of the manager's apologised) and it just didn't feel like the evening we had anticipated.

The food and service lived up to our expectations! Lovely staff who helped to make the evening pleasurable. The food spoke for itself!!!!!! Will definitely be returning.

Great in every way as always. Family celebration, 3 generations all catered for. Food came to the whole table together for every course.

I went to La Pergola on a couple of occasions and both times I ate exquisite (traditional Italian) food. Staff was cordial staff and friendly. I will definitely go there again
