This is our local Italian and is one of the best places to eat in Catford. My wife’s parents thoroughly enjoyed it as we normally do. It will be good to continue supporting local businesses during this difficult time! They deserve it, food is excellent!

Another lovely meal at La Pizzeria - one of Cat-ford's hidden gems. Dont be put off by the location, the food is wonderful and service quick and friendly. Gorgeous and genuine Italian receipes served up in SE London.

Didn't know this was in Catford, lovely hidden little spot making you feel like you are out of London.

Pizza was lovely and my partner had the scallops and prawn which she loved. Wine was nice and the desert portions were big.

Finished off with a nice limoncello (can't spell it). Will come with the kids next time.

The food at la Pizzeria Italiana is second to none, made with love to melt the heart as well as the tastebuds. The service is prompt and friendly, with the owner and his staff helping to create a convivial family atmosphere, welcoming customers like friends. I love this place, and if I had any reason not to recommend it, it would only be that I didn’t want too many people knowing the secret!

Wonderful food and service at a great price. The fish stew cannot be beaten anywhere in South London and the pizzas and pasta are always top quality.

Add ever, the food was superb, especially the fish stew and the spaghetti vongole. But I should also mention that, despite it being Valentine's Day, despite the place being full, and despite us running late and having to move our reservation back 30 minutes, the service was superb! Top marks all round.

Fabulous as ever. A real hidden treasure, this unexpected jewel in a gritty corner of Catford never fails to impress. Fish stew and monkfish are firm favourites. Great for kids too with half portions of excellent pasta dishes and lovely pizza.

A delicious, authentic menu with so many good things to choose from.
