Birthday celebrated at La Trompette was made very special. Food and service was fantastic and so was the wine recommendation . Just love eating here.
Still West London’s best fine dining experience. Always a treat to come back.
Awesome main and amazing deserts. Staff were very attentive
My friend and I visited La Trompette for the first time recently. It was superb. We tried the taster menu with accompanying wines and it was truly delicious. The meal was seasonal, beautifully presented and not heavy. The barbecued shortrib and croustillant of beef, with hen of the woods and roasting juices was outstanding, as was the English gooseberry souffle. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. It was a very memorable experience. It is definitly on our list of favourite restaurants.
It had been a while since I had visited and the service and food were exceptional as I remembered. The advice for picking the wine was very useful and practical as well as unintimidating! The starters of the cucumber soup with eel/mackerel muffin and the ravioli were delicious and different taste experience, whilst the lamb presented three different ways was excellent quality. We will be back soon!
A lovely evening, great food, great staff, no complaints at all here!
Wonderful birthday lunch at our favourite restaurant!
Excellent food stylishly presented with flair and subtle but attentive service.
Friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Delicious food, very reasonable price for the quality (£57 for 3 courses). Best mango I have ever eaten (I had the muscovado custard tart for pudding)
La Trompette lived up to and beyond expectations! Fine dining with the service and ambience to match. We chose the wine tasting menu and were treated to dishes to satisfy every palate! I was torn between the short rib, the scallop or the turbot as my favourites! Always a great cuisine predicament to be in when you cannot choose your favourite! Don’t just take my word for it, book yourself a table and treat yourself!
Food was stunning, fantastic service. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend.
Second visit to La Trompette. So good the first time we had to go back. And it was just as good this time.
I was looking for a venue for lunch in Chiswick, a birthday celebration that wouldn’t disappoint my other half. I booked a table at La Trompette and we left very happy by the whole experience. The food and drink were exemplary, and the staff knowledgeable and only too happy to help. The perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Can’t wait to visit again. A great place tucked away from it all.
Booked for a special occasion and went for the tasting menu with matching wines. The food was outstanding inventive without being overly showy. Just fantastic flavours. The sommelier made imaginative pairings with the food. The staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.
Enjoyed the food and the friendly staff
Excellent restaurant, particularly compared to what else is on offer in Chiswick.
I was really looking forward to this restaurant having visited Chez Bruce several times over the years. I went with my daughter and her partner for my birthday treat. The food was lovely and we all had plenty to choose from. Compared to other similar restaurants we appreciated the sensible size portions that tasted great.
I would definitely go to this place again.
This was a special treat and boy was it special - we had the tasting menu with recommended wines. The food was sublime and presentation and service were superb. While not cheap, when compared to other places of similar quality (and often not as good) it was good value. There was nothing I could fault - a pure delight.
Outstanding food and service. The food is exquisite, and you have to have the cheese board.
Restaurant very good. House red well received by all. Friendly staff little slow at times.
Impeccable service, subtle and understated
Food very interesting with incredible flavour, the meat dish was very small milk lamb should have been a bigger portion
My partner and I visited La Trompet to celebrate her birthday. We have been there before and have always had great experiences. We both had the "taster menu" without the accompanying wine. All of the course were good and three of the courses were exceptional (the Bream, the Turbot and the Banana Souffle). This is an excellent local restaurant and we will definitely be returning at some future date.
Tasting menu and wine pairing was entertaining and had some excellent challenging moments. Really wonderful meal and delightful and knowledgeable service.
Awesome as always!
Lovely relaxed atmosphere in the reataurant and staff were very attentive. Answered all my questions about the menu. Really helpful on the drinks menu too. The quail starter with black pudding I would highly recommend. My parnter loved it. The suckling pig was a dish full of so much flavour although the pig was a little fatty all the flavours paired well. It was also not a heavy dish. The desserts were amazing full or flavour and not too heavy. This is the second time i have been here and enjoyed it as much as the first time. I would highly recommend La Trompette.
Excellent food and wine with friendly service - as always!
Just not quite good enough in any department to deserve its status & reputation. Inaccuracies in cooking & service.
culinary proposal more than pleasant. impeccable service. thank you to the young sommelier of talent.
The tasting menu was amazing! The care that went into each dish was evident. Highly recommend this resturant. Our best meal in London (better than Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant by far).
Birthday Sunday lunch - excellent day at La Trompette
Food and service fantastic. I think the food is excellent value for money but the wine list is very expensive. I would consider the cost of the wine before visiting again.
Very polished service. The restaurant is very clear, and polite, that you have a set period of time - so don;t turn up late and expect to linger! Food was absolutely first class.
Excellent food as usual and service to match!
We loved every minute!
La Trompette was our choice for a wedding anniversary celebration and it was perfect. The waiting staff were attentive and pleasant, not distracting, the food was incredibly tasty and the wine pairings exceptional. The tables were well spaced and so we had a good level of privacy. Yum!
Amazing tasting menu from LA trompette again. Faultless service, and food and wine in each course was simply superb.
Our first time at a Michelin star restaurant & we were not disappointed. The food was exquisite & delicious plus the portions were more generous then we’d have expected. The service was prompt & the staff were friendly & professional. I’d mentioned when booking that it was for an anniversary & we were presented with a plate which on it was written in chocolate wishing us a happy one which we thought was very nice of them. We would recommend here & would definitely visit again.
This was my second visit to La Trompette. The service was excellent, as was the wine list, and whilst I enjoyed the food, it was not of the same quality as I've eaten at other Michelin starred restaurants. I had scallops to start - good (but over-seasoned, in my view) and pork belly for main course (well cooked, but unusually fatty). My desert (banana soufflé) was deliciously hot, but not sufficiently well cooked. A mediocre experience for the money - I'll be slow to go back.
Never disappoints we love La Trompette especially for lunch at the weekend
Great food lovely staff & a wonderful haven from the busy lives we lead
The food was excellent, staff are very friendly. The place is a bit expensive but we visited at lunch time so it was cheaper the place is very popular and there are lots of tables but there is still a decent space between tables. I had deer and my partner beef, our meats were cooked to perfection. Plates were dressed with style. We will come again.
