Second time we’ve been to the Laguna this year & both times the food & service have been very good indeed. We had Mattar Paneer & an aubergine curry with rotis - everything was very tasty. Sadly we were the only customers it being a weekday lunch time so atmosphere was lacking, but we will still definitely return in the future.
Was so glad to finally try this place. The food was plentiful and delicious, with very courteous, efficient service whilst maintaining pandemic rules.
Looking forward to the next visit.
I always enjoy eating at Laguna. The food is excellent and the hosts and waiters are very friendly. In terms of ambience, on Sundays they seem to play authentic music, which we did not have during our visit on Saturday evening. It would also have been nice to have a table further away from the door / bar area but it was not the end of the world.
I’m not sure if it’s changed ownership but the food wasn’t great...meat overcooked to the extent it is falling apart, maybe even older meat. The service was slow and took over 30 mins just for drinks even when the place was half full. Overall disappointing.
We were booked in at 14.00 We arrived early at 13.30 ...We had starters and main meals.... Without asking for the bill it was brought to us, I explained we didn't want the bill as we wanted to order desserts and chai. The waiter said they were shutting... !!!!
Really, really poor service. In fact I’d go as so far to say they actually forgot about us! When our starters came there were just 2 sheekh kebabs on the plate and just a few pieces of chicken tikka I think they actually ran out of food!! Will not be going there again.
Great meal at Laguna with some delicious food and drinks.
Lovely food but very very very slow service. But I would literally have to go back for the food since it's so hard to find proper Punjabi cuisine here!
Great variety of foods- esp the tandoor option for veggies. Freshly cooked dishes and generous portions. Will definitely be back.
The food was very good the mixed grill as a starter for 4 was good value overall the food is not too spicy but tasty .
We have heard a lot about Laguna but our experience was not good. The quantity served is very very less . One portion should serve at least two but here one portion is not enough for a single person. We ordered Kebabs ,only two medium sized came . then we have two ordered 3 more portion . For group of 12 people , a 5 portion of curries should be enough but we have to order 8 portions . This increases the bill also. The bar man dosen't know how to make make the mocktails/cocktails , He reads first in the bar menu and then mix them without measuring the quantity . I don't think they are professionals. Their speciality is Butter chicken but they don't know how to balance the spices . the green cardamom was in access which made the taste bitter. In the last The worst thing is the adding of 10percent Gradtuity with the bill .
We dined at this restaurant 2 days ago but still have not been honoured the dining points. Disappointing
Stumbled on this place when I ended up meeting an old friend that side of town; a little gem. Excellent service, food was fresh, hot and delicious. Was catching up with old friend, so lovely ambience, and we could hear ourselves speak! Definitely go again
Made a reservation that evening as a friend and I quickly decided to venture out.......pleasant all round, staff not so knowledgable about the food, but it was good. Place is nothing special easy dining.
No flock - modern/smart but traditional cooking with knowledge. This restaurant has been here for as long as my memory. Large room but also cubby seating. Portions are fair and food tasty. Lots of choice. Fun cocktails too. Steady stream of people all night but not too crowded. I would recommend - especially for larger groups on long tables. But spaces for couples and families too.
We go there repeatedly and are never disappointed. We try different appetizers each time - we love the popadoms and the mixed pickles and chutneys to go with them. As I am a vegetarian and my partner isn't we always chose a variety of main dishes and they are all very good. The service is good, nice and friendly; and we will surely be back next time we are in Eailng and long for indian food.
Always like eating here as you get good deals
Saturday 15th December. I was very much looking forward to my first visit to Laguna with my friends, so you can imagine how disappointed I was with the average food, very poor service, lack of ambience and poor value for money. I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends nor will I be making a return visit.
Disappointed of W5.
This is our favourite Indian restaurant and we really like curries. Really good food, always full of a real mixture of people:-couples, Indian families, young Indian groups, work groups etc. This time we were taking a friend over from the US who wanted a decent Indian meal in London
Ths restaurant is great value on sundays when the buffet is on
MIXED GRILL is proably the best i have tasted at a indian restaurant...service is very good
We've had one meal here - for Sunday lunch.
We had the a la carte although there was a buffet available - the buffet seemed very good value.
The meats from the Tandoori treasures in the Tandoor Ke Khazane were excellent - spicy and succulent.
We especially enjoyed the aubergines - Bengan Masaledar - delicious little seeded nuggets.
It was fairly quiet for a Sunday - but it was the Diamond Jubilee - so maybe people were enjoying themselves elsewhere.
The Laguna is fast becoming a favourite as local Indian restaurant, in the last year it's moved up our list from 'Let's go there for a change' to equal first for Indian food in the area. We booked for 7:15 on a Saturday; the restaurant was busy by the time we arrived and looked full 15 minutes later ... do book.
Prawn puri is always one of our starters here, generous with the prawns on a well puffed base. We also tried the Gilafi Seekh Kebab which was excellent. For main I tried the Lahsuni Murgh, marinated chicken cooked on charcoal for the first time. Like the kebabs, it was succulent and had clearly made it to the table within seconds of leaving the charcoal. Highly flavoured with garlic and spices it was really good. Great value.
The butter chicken is amazing. Great value!
the restaurant was brilliant nicely layer out service was perfect would go again and recommend the restaurant to everyone.
Laguna in Ealing is a favourite of my parents. Traditional dishes cooked to perfection.
Went for the Sunday buffet all you can eat! 3 magic words that make my tummy growl with anticipation! Lots of variety in veg & non-veg
Good food, good service. Recommend the vegetarian dishes, I was a bit disappointed with the Kofta but overall a great experience. The meat dishes were excellent and recommend the black pepper chicken in the mains for those that can handle spice.
Laguna - as always, great food, sensible prices, lovely buzzy atmosphere!
Really very good and authentic Indian food. It was reassuring to be surrounded by groups of dressed-up Indian friends and families. Service was good - attentive without being obseqious. Only negative is that Laguna is a lack of atmosphere and tired decor.
My first visit to Laguna in Ealing. We were in a hurry and one friend arrived late but, the waiters provided a swift and efficient service. The only thing that let the food down was the 'vindaloo' strength of the ' Madrass' dish I had selected. The quality was great. Ambiece lacking, but is was 18:00 on a Thursday evening!
Laguna is an excellent indian restaurant in Ealing. Fantastic food, service and a great ambiance. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant, and the fact it continues to be so popular with Indian families, shows that it really is a great Indian restaurant.
laguna ealing
excellent food and service. nice touch with a drink on the house at the end of the meal.
restaurant is popular with Asian families - a good sign!
My mum and dads favorite local eat. Took the family for dads 60th, good food, service and evening. Recommend it over a lot of places in Ealing. Solid traditional Indian.
Laguna, is not bad. The environment is bland and not likely to offend and the food was quite good, so all in all, if you want a reasonably priced Indian restaurant in this area, then not a bad choice.
Laguna Ealing, average food considering location and proximity to southall were far superior indian restaurants will offer a much more rewarding experience. Food was bland, decor was outdated.
