Lunch for 3 on a weekday. We arrived half an hour late but this wasn't a problem. Friendly service, great food and very decent prices along with fresh decor which reflected the seaside location whilst showing videos of old Morecambe. Will definitely visit again and recommend to others! MoreOpenTable Diner -

Clitheroe’s La Vespa is an Italian ristorante and trattoria owned and run by Luigi and partner Donato, an Italian-born chef who is well known locally.
The restaurant is situated on the main road into the centre of Clitheroe and really stands out from the crowd, a tall building with beautiful signage and lighting.
The restaurant has a large open kitchen and serving area and can cater for around 90 diners.
It’s a good spot for large groups and parties but also has some quiet and private out-of-the-way tables perfect for a romantic dinner.
There is also a relaxing reception area with leather sofas.
The kitchen turns out modern and traditional Italian cuisine with everything prepared from scratch, including the sauces.
There is a large choice of home made desserts and a selection of Italian wines too. More
Located on Main Street Barrowford, the modern interior of this restaurant disguises the authentic Italian kitchen brigade inside. Zio’s menu contains many of the classic Italian regional dishes you would expect to find, but also dishes that would not seem out of place on a traditional Sunday inLancashire, such as slow cooked lamb shank. The specials menu changes weekly; a starter example would be a dish of steamed fillet of cod served cold with compote of red onion, with a pesto and lemon mayo, or fillets of red snapper with mussels and prawns as a main course. Pizza’s are mouth wateringly delicious, from the simple Acciughe:- anchovies, onions, fresh chilli, oregano and tomato, to the mamma mia:- salame, meatballs, Tuscan sausage and of course tomato and 100% mozzarella.
Our chefs can produce any combination of pasta or sauce. If they have the ingredients to hand, then it can be made to your special recipe.More
