The AMMER chicken and duck roasting house, owned by the Schmidbauer family of restaurateurs - now in its 5th generation - has demonstrably been at the Munich Oktoberfest since 1885 and we can look back on a deeply rooted, long-standing tradition. As the oldest chicken roaster in the world, we have always reinvented ourselves: We lovingly combine old and new.In our marquee and beer garden we welcome our guests at well-kept tables and pamper young and old with our famous organic chicken from the grill, our roasted ducks, Augustinian beer from the wooden barrel and much more. On the street you can buy Wiesnschmankerl to take home with you and for quick enjoyment. What comes on the plate and in the glass is carefully selected and prepared with dedication to quality and our region.
