The food and service is always good... they will accommodate you on something you would like more of or if something hasn't yet made it around to your table.

It was literally the best dining experience of my life. All the staff were so welcoming, the food was SO GOOD, and the cocktails were crafted tableside. I honestly have nothing bad to say and will be back any time I am in Cancun!

I save notes on restaurants I want to revisit. We have eaten at La Dolce Vita for at least 5 years...sometimes twice per visit to Cancun. My note reads: "You feel like they are welcoming you home. This was the last meal of our 2 week adventure in the Mayan Riviera and it was PERFECT. The service was high level, and the food was delicious. Looking out at the water and the twinkling lights made it so romantic. We were sooo happy we decided to eat here.
