"Took my mom out for a special dinner while visiting in town. Love the warmth of this place with brick and stone walls as well as historic touches. Began with a gin cocktail which was very good. Followed by a caprese salad and complimentary fresh baked rolls and butter. Melt in your mouth! The heirloom and local cherry tomatoes as well as the balsamic reduction were very satisfying. Nice size too. Followed by the pork chop entré. Perfectly prepared. Tender and moist, flavorful with a slight crispness on outside. Topped with a fresh and flavor balanced apricot and pepper relish. Really nice. Fingerling potatoes well prepared. Cauliflower rini? was only disappointment. Very bland and not crisp. Mom had Shrimp Scampi and she enjoyed every bite! Will be back!"See more
