Second time here and the food was great again, with a very friendly service.

Since discovering this wonderful pub, we have since been several times and yesterday was just the same...wonderful. The food, service and friendliness of the staff was so lovely. We will certainly be back in the very near future.

We have eaten here twice. Both times we selected from the list of available fresh fish for the day. The fish was indeed fresh, and perfectly cooked. The new potatoes are a delicious accompaniment and the salad is superior to the usual greens offered in most restaurants. The service is excellent.

The best Sunday dinner in the area. Tender beef and the best Yorkshire pudding I’ve ever had. Plenty of veg, cooked perfectly and all was piping hot. The prawn cocktail starter again was the best I’ve had, I know it’s a simple starter but surprising how so many places can’t manage it. Will definitely be back!
