Wonderful lunch in the cloisters great value for fixed price lunch food as always was tremendous beautifully seasoned and presented service levels top notch without being over the top just nice attention abd very friendly it's a beautiful building and great ambience we were celebrating my daughters birthday so appreciated the card on the table so thanks to all for a very special day

First time diner here definitely won't be my last . The restaurant is richly decorated , the service is impeccable and nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff . The food is beautifully presented , we opted for the meze but saw many dishes being taken to other tables and they were all eye catching and looked of high quality. All elements of the meze were really flavoursome and of high quality , I opted for a baklava dessert which was absolutely delightful . It was a real pleasure to dine here and I can thoroughly recommend going , it's popularity is clear I would recommend booking a table rather than walk up.

This is one of the best restaurants in Durham. We’ve been a number of times and would highly recommend it. The food is amazing- there isn’t anything on the menu that I wouldn’t love to eat. Love the hanging kebabs in particular. It’s incredibly good value as well. But the best thing about it is the staff - they are so lovely and very attentive without being in your face.

Really fantastic restaurant with exceptional service, a fabulous array of food on the menu and some very good wines at very reasonable prices.
