An amazing location, food was great and staff were really friendly.

Beautiful and creative use of space on a clifftop with breathtaking views. Lovely menu and mouthwatering cakes and scones on offer which we took away with us for later. Great service and definitely worth seeking out for the views for breakfast.

Excellent afternoon tea experience. Three sandwiches, two scones and four desserts. Great value, especially in comparison to other afternoon teas.

A quiet late lunch. No-one at front desk but bar man came immediately over to take our costs. Big plus - far better than "someone will be with you in a moment"! At the table, the waiting staff immediately pointed out we had been offered a free cocktail after a previous visit more than six months ago! We hadn't going to mention this, so it was interesting that they had - and used! - a system to flag this up. Lunch menu steaks were excellent. Chips are fab! Loved the horseradish tang to the beetroot starter. We will be back.

The starters must try. I am not a big fan of black pudding but they’re delicious. The main a lot of selection but the pork is lovely and my husband had venison burger also delicious we had a lovely night.
