Lovely location and decor but some confusion by the wait staff. Lots of mixups on our order. Food was delicious but a tad pricey.

Lovely restaurant with beautiful views over the marina. Staff were attentive and very pleasant. We booked our table in advance but I think we could have been seated without booking as there seemed to be plenty of tables available when we arrived. As for the food..just wow. Could not fault anything. We had 3 courses and enjoyed every course to the last bite. Though it seemed a little more expensive than other places, we were happy to pay for such amazing food and would definitely return. Well done Marina restaurant.

Beautiful view of the lake. Good staff. Interior in need of updating and renewing. Food was lovely but I felt it was way too expensive. Bread and butter to start. Pressed Lamb with barley in gravy. Duck breast with potatoes and veg. 1 blackcurrant with water and 1 glass of urn bru. = £73. There was an £8 service charge included.

We had an excellent evening , with very attentive staff. The ambience is lovely..very comfortable. The only very slight negative was that some specials weren’t on the menu, and gluten free options were only available in some dishes. E.g my husband ordered the cheese board, but had to have toasted gf bread, as no gf crackers or oatcakes were available, and he needed a spoon for the Stilton ice cream on the board..tricky trying to eat it with a knife! However, that said, all the food was beautifully presented and was delicious. As it was our Golden Wedding, we enjoyed the experience and the staff made it a memorable occasion.
