Seated promptly for our early reservation (5:15). Service was prompt and attentive, although it became less so as the restaurant began to fill. Typical urban clientele: boisterous and caring little for other tables. The architecture contributed to the noise level. The food was quite good. We are repeat customers and will return again sometime on a future trip to the Crescent City. It, of course, offers legion dining options.

We ordered the calamari “fettuccine” and snapper ceviche as starters per our server Jackie’s recommendation. Both were great! I could have eaten an entire bowl of the calamari by myself. I ordered my favorite scallibut and my husband ordered the dry age tuna strip. Never knew tuna could taste like a steak. It was amazing. As always GW Fins was delicious and a great way to celebrate our anniversary. Can’t wait to go back.

This was my second time in New Orleans and second time eating at Muriel’s and it was fantastic! The drinks were perfectly prepared, (I had a Pimm’s Cup and it was exactly as it should be), the food was cooked beautifully (I had the pork chops) and the service was excellent. I love the location, the style of the restaurant just feels like New Orleans and you can’t beat a great meal. I will always go back when I’m in town and my friends thanked me for taking them to such a great place on their first visit to the city. We then walked across the square to have beignets, but next time, I’ll get the crème brûlée at Muriel’s.
