Had a fabulous meal and overall very pleasant experience ! Staff is exceptional, from greeting to leaving! Food was outstanding! Make a reservation or you will wait! Pleasent atmosphere !

This was our first experience at Jacks, it was awesome. We live about 8 blocks from their location and watched all the challenges Jacks went through from delayed construction to the opening fire. We were so glad to see when they opened for good!!! And the best news, it was worth the wait! The service is amazing, Henry was our server, best server ever, you can't find a better server! It was our anniversary and my wife's birthday, they put signs on the table for both--nice touch. Henry brought us complimentary Champagne flutes for our anniversary, another nice touch! The food was great from the bread, two different kinds of tasty butter, their salad is incredible (get the Hipster Salad-don't even think of the others), it's a take on the traditional wedge, but with flavor--lots of flavor vs a wedge. Steaks are good, your only choice is Waygu--personally I think Waygu is generally over rated and over priced--but Jack's is still a good steak; I had the ribeye, done perfectly. My guess is the filet is equally as good. My wife had the short rib, it was delicious, highly recommend that too. From the looks of their menu, it's nicely varied, from sushi to french dip, some pasta, to steaks. As an added bonus, and a HUGE, HUGE plus in my book, as competitors have shrunk the size of their cocktail glasses but raised their prices, Jack's still uses the traditional size Cosmo/Martini glass at a normal price--VERY nicely done Jack's!!!!! Way to go!!! (The only suggestion I would have for Jack's is when you are celebrating a birthday, you should comp the dessert) I would highly recommend Jacks and look forward to our next visit--so glad it's close by, we'll be back soon!
