Lovely staff, amazing cocktails and great food! Great location as well

Our first - and hopefully not last - visit to The Globe was a great experience. We had the 4-course Burns Week set lunch menu which was excellent from start to finish and good value given the high standard of food and the professional and friendly service.

The place was great, good atmosphere, excellent food, great open kitchen with a friendly brigade and great service. The only slight downside was the menu was complicated and the table for 2 was not big enough and we had to shuffle drinks and plates to the floor to make enough room.....appreciate the need to maximise covers but they seemed a bit too small....

Table of 4. We ordered Hot Sticky Mess BBQ Burger, Peking Burger, Hot Honey Ranch Burger and a Vegan Burger. All were delicious and huge portions, you’re not leaving Bucks Hungry. 40% off cocktails so it would have been rude not to, the girls had a Wham Bar and a Buck Star - both were lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly, the service was great, well done everyone! £100 for 4 mains and 2 rounds of drinks (one of which included the cocktails) in a nice lively atmosphere with great service and staff - so great value, what’s not to like.

Delicious food served by friendly, attentive staff in a relaxed atmosphere. A very dog-friendly venue. I particularly enjoyed the local scallops and my other half and I both agreed we’d never ever tasted such lovely smooth black pudding. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for! Would highly recommend and will definitely go back the next time we visit the area!
