Restaurants near Dean Village

Nice setting and good menu. We found our steak good but not great as expected. Sides were good. Wine was wonderful. Service was nice and fairly attentive. We thought it was a 7 out of 10.

Amazing dinner for our anniversary and the servers went above and beyond. We ate steaks, and had the most amazing dessert. I highly recommend the clotted ice cream and the salted carmel rolos. Delicious !

We had afternoon tea and could not fault it. My only complaint if it can be called that, was the cost of the cocktails, a bit on the steep side but I suppose most places are the same in Edinburgh.

Having eaten in the front (near the bar), the middle and the back at Cote, I think that the middle room is the quietest. The back room is delightful but, being bid, it can and does host large 'hen parties' who make a bit of a racket. I have not tried the terrace, which must be enjoyable when the weather conditions are right!

Our group (3 couples) thoroughly enjoyed our 'Boozy Snoozy' lunch accompanied by the house wines. There was a high level of attention given to our needs and no pressure on time. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon with friends.
