    We are fairly picky diners, and we've been back to The Standard a handful of times now. The service has always been outstanding. Professional, friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is overall fantastic. Sometimes it does depend on your seat, but it's really not a huge factor. Food and drinks are always delicious and the food seems to always be good portions while not sacrificing flavor and presentation.

    I had dinner with a friend and the food and the service were both wonderful. Our server was friendly, attentive and he knew the menu well and answered questions for my friend about what she wanted to order. Her salmon was cooked to perfection, and I ordered the shichimi tuna appetizer and the tortilla soup as my dinner. Both were as good as was expected. They never disappoint!

    We went in for my dad's 71st birthday. Erin was so good with him and even made him smile a few times!! The food was excellent. My dad had pierogies for the first time, and he liked them. They talked about how good the food was all night. They will be back!
