- CCrystalLondon •3 reviews4.0Dined on 15 Jun 2025We had a lovely family meal for Father’s Day. It was busy and there was a long wait for our food however when it came, it was absolutely delicious. The giant Yorkshire puddings were yummy but we couldn’t finish and the bread sauce and tender chicken was delicious.More infoJones & Sons E18Price: Expensive• British• South Woodford•4.3
- RRhiannonLondon •1 review5.0Dined on 7 Jun 2025The food at Namak was amazing - Indian food done right. The perfect level of spice in all the dishes and a real death of flavour. To start we had the chilli paneer and the samosa chat. The chilli paneer was one of the best I’ve ever had, a nice kick and crispy paneer in a thick sauce. The samosa chat had so many different ingredients in it including pomegranate, blueberries and chickpeas, different sauces but everything complemented eachother so well. The mains I had the paneer tikka and the dahl as I’m veggie - the dahl had a lovely death of spice and you could tell it had been cooked for a long time. My partner had the lamb shank curry - the meal fell of the bone and had been cooked to perfection. Barely any fat on it. The rice and roti complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was brilliant, the waiters were so attentive but not overbearing. The Atmosphere was buzzing and had a range of different ages and backgrounds which shows it’s a very popular restaurant. We will definitely be going back to Namak many times in the future, can’t recommend enough if you want an authentic, modern Indian restaurant and want to excite your tastebuds!More infoNamak RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Indian• South Woodford•4.7
- DDanielLondon •8 reviews5.0Dined on 30 Mar 2025The night started off a little odd, we arrived just after the restaurant opened and were the only people there at first. Decor inside was lovely, albeit the outside of of restaurant is undergoing refurbishment. The first thing I did was order one of their amazing looking cocktails, only to be informed that they did not yet have their drinks license, which was expected next week. It’s a very new restaurant, and they were very accommodating letting us purchase our own drink on the high street and bring it in, but it would have been nice to have known in advance. From that point onwards, we had a great night. The food was amazing, service was attentive without being overwhelming. The kids took advantage of the lack of alcohol to have a mocktail each, served in a glass dome full of smoke, very dramatic! We had 3 courses and everything we ate was brilliant. The bill was £140ish for 4 of us (kids were eating adult portions, not sure if there’s a kids menu). We added service to that and bought our own drinks, so would be more expensive once licensed. There’s a shisha lounge bit, which is completely separate to the main restaurant. Our table was a very comfortable booth, which could have easily sat 6 with plenty of room. A lovely night out.More infoLounge 71Price: Expensive• Fusion / Eclectic• South Woodford•5
