Restaurants near Farne Islands

As always, really good food, lovely view and friendly helpful staff… highly recommended xxx

What a location! The food was amazing, big portions and super service. The staff were great and the restaurant was very nice. Nice relaxing atmosphere. We had the potted lobster and mussels for starters and a dressed crab salad and lobster Thermidor for mains which were outstanding. No room for dessert though. Parked off road just before you get to the restaurant.

Been here many times in the past. Menu less varied than we remember, no specials, not much locally caught fish. Service generally good and friendly although some younger servers have developed "waiter's eye" - the ability to look somewhere else and be busy with small jobs. Food was tasty though. As for value for money, could only give two stars on that score because the wine prices were silly - cheapest bottle a Pinot Grigio at £29.50? A Rioja Reserve at £55? Come on! Are these the new Northumberland prices?

A great meal which was the perfect ending to a fabulous trip out to the Inner Farne Islands.
