Restaurants near Field Museum of Natural History

Great place! Must plan in advance for outside tables when possible. Food was great, although it’s unclear what sauce is on each pizza so what’s a little strange for a pizza place. Music was VERY loud. Very club-Taurant. I wouldn’t have minded if it was more mellow Italian-esque. But it we enjoyed ourselves regardless. Just be prepared for club music during your 11am lunch. Not for big groups. Not for kids.

It was very nearly a perfect experience. They put us way in the back in the corner of the restaurant so service was a little spotty but once we found the sommelier after a very long time waiting to open our wine, things were perfect. The food is absolutely delicious. We had a group of 6 and ordered a variety from the menu. Standouts were the corn pasta dish, branzino - do not leave any chimichurri behind its incredible- and the barolos on the menu. Would absolutely return.

Absolutely stunning restaurant with views of the river and options to be seated. The food was on par with the views and service to match. We ate lunch at this amazing spot on our way back home and would love to come back. The risotto was the best risotto I have had and scallops perfectly cooked.

Had a great dinner at Alla Vita! The ricotta dumplings are to die for!!! The vodka rigatoni is also wonderful. The restaurant is beautiful inside and has great vibes!

This was our first time and my guest had a series of health restrictions….the waiter was kind, took time to cover the menu with her, checked with the chefs on certain options….WONDERFUL! The food was fantastic, we had salmon kebabs , crispy potatoes (yum!) and the hummus…excellent 👍🏼 wonderful ambience, great for a date!
