A quiet Thursday lunchtime but the quality of food and service were both exemplary. I had the French onion soup which was delicious and the best outside of France. My husband had the Shetland mussels which he agreed were the best that he had tasted outside of France. Both main courses were of an equally high standard, full of flavour with each item complementing the others. Our first visit but definitely not the last. We’re already planning our return. Well done!

Had dinner for 2 on a Wednesday evening. Young but friendly and attentive staff, delicious food. We had the charcuterie shared starter, Haddock & chips and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Generous portion sizes for all, great quality and taste as well. We spent two hours here and enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended for people who are seeking good, high quality and delicious food to comfort the soul after a long day.

Brilliant food, excellent quality, massive helpings with excellent service. Food with a difference from our normal dining and what a great choice we made. Amazing backdrop with Marischal College outside the window.

The only disappointment I had was with the blonde female server. She just didn’t seem as happy as all your meat servers and we had our salad etc before our drinks but apart from that everything was amazing. My new favourite restaurant in Aberdeen.

It's always a pleasure to visit the Forbes Arms for a meal. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and attentive. Just another fortnight until we go again.
