This was my first time going based on positive reviews from my parents and friends. This did not disappoint and is the best restaurant I have attended in a long time. The service was unbeatable. The atmos was wonderful, warm and very inviting. Love the quirky and distinctive art and deco around the rooms. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely attentive and very helpful. I am excited and looking forward to going back with my partner. This has kick started my Christmas in the best way possible. Disappointed that some items have been removed from the menu although we appreciate that some dishes are seasonal Unfortunately both the dishes I like have been taken off

We visit York every year for my friend’s Birthday. We always choose somewhere different to dine. We will definitely return to Cut and Craft. We had a fabulous experience. We arrived 2 hours earlier than our booking as we were all shopped out and hungry! We were happy to have a drink and wait for our table. But Evie very kindly managed to find us a table straightaway. We had a fantastic table and were very relieved to settle ourselves in and get comfortable. The ambience was so warm and cosy. I felt happy straightaway. We both chose the signature steak and shared 3 side plates. It was absolutely divine. We couldn’t eat it quickly enough, it was so good. The dessert of peach mousse with sorbet and pieces of honeycomb was also to die for. I can honestly say I haven’t had food as good as this in a long time. Thank you Evie for looking after us and helping us have such a wonderful time!

Always good. Excellent service, especially for anyone with problems. I am always welcome on my mobility scooter. Food is always of a consistently high standard. Can't fault anything about Old Ole
