Enjoy exceptional cuisine with an emphasis on cutting-edge British cuisine, prepared with the highest quality of fresh ingredients. This is fine dining but in a warm and friendly atmosphere, free of unnecessary formality. The dishes you find on the menu are also influenced by Beatrice Tollman, President and Founder of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection who has a particular passion for food. As you step in from the bustling city streets of Kensington you will be struck by the fine traditional décor, rich mahogany furniture, warm wood panelling and the abundance of natural daylight pouring in from the Victorian leaded windows. Enter a world of calm sophistication and sumptuous luxury in our dining room, a room full of character, reflecting the distinctive period architecture of the building. The circular Oratory, with its ornate vaulted ceiling and wood panelling, is perfect for private dining. Afternoon Tea is served in the Park Lounge - available to book on Opentable.

As usual,I booked the 1917 menu which is good value, but my companions wanted Shepherd's pie and so went a la carte. The Ivy West St.is an institution. The others offer reliable food and service a cut above the ordinary. The wine was reasonably priced for London and big glasses. Ann wanted custard, which they don't do but settled for profiteroles. I wanted apple tarte which is baked fresh,so we waited and then found out it was not ordered. That said it was very popular at 1830 on a Tuesday evening, and rightly so. No problem splitting the bill. They know what they are doing.

Excellent evening. Impressive and delicious "home cooked" Italian food. A well balanced, short menu with attractive additional daily options. Great value for money and perfect portion sizes. A similarly well curated reasonable drinks menu, with good quality house wine options. Very friendly, knowledgable and efficient staff. Well paced service. Nice ambiance for a small venue, including outside tables.
