Food was amazing, service was outstanding and overall the meal could not be faulted. Made our anniversary meal special with a lovely note and couple of glasses of champagne - small touches like this really make a difference. Would definitely recommend the ivy at Canterbury.

A fantastic restaurant situated just on the outskirts of Canterbury. A brilliant blend of indoor and outdoor dining areas, including an outdoor gazebo area. The restaurant has a wonderful ambience, which relies on the buzz of the customers rather than music, which is what we prefer. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home, the owner (Matt) was on hand to welcome us and also made an extra effort to make my normally very shy kids feel at ease. It was my wife's birthday and the staff left her a handwritten birthday card which was incredibly touching. The food was stunning, excellent portion sizes, plenty to choose from, but not an overbearing menu, and a great mix of dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients. The BBQ sharer for two is a perfect choice if you're a meat eater, but everyone is catered for. We can't wait to go back again to try something different James, Catherine, Ceira and Luke Cameron

Greeted promptly by staff and shown to our table. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food fantastic, lives up to the fantastic word of mouth reviews we had heard. £125 for 4 of us and a few drinks is the going rate these days for a meal out.

Service absolutely outstanding. Food super. 4 adults 1 child aged 3 1/2 , admittedly well behaved anyway but staff were just brilliant with him, I think the appreciated his ( and ours I hope) very good manners. Will definitely be recommending to others and will be returning. Sunday lunch was delicious , generous and all ‘snacks ‘ ( amazing ) and starters also delicious.
