"It is the first time I have been to Cotto and took a chance at recommending it to friends for our next place to meet and catch up. The food was excellent, and the service very good until the bill was given to us without waiting for us to ask for it. It made us feel unwelcome, were being rushed out of the restaurant and the owner stood by our table speaking in Italian in a deliberately loud voice to a couple sitting on the table next to us to the point where we could not hear each other when trying to have a discussion. It made us feel very uncomfortable and ruined our four monthly get together to catch up with with each others lives. However, in spite of this, we very much enjoyed the food and the fact that gluten free choices were available for one of my friends was refreshing and they would like to return for our next get together."See more

"This restaurant was found by putting into the net “ good places for lunch near Waterloo station”. The reviews were very good and it definitely lived up to them. We were a party of 4 and all had different main courses and deserts and they were all very tasty and very different. We will tell our friends about it. "Brasserie Joel is a tasteful and refined restaurant situated within the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel. Subdued lighting and modern decor help to create a romantic yet relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are the perfect amount of attentive. My dining partner and I ordered the ratatouille casserole and the Argentinian rib-eye steak.
