"Enjoyed a lovely beef Sunday roast with family. Food absolutely delicious, with yummy deserts after. Traditional pub with large pretty outside area and good sized car park. Happy to see a friendly family dog who didn’t bother us at all and more than happy that our dog will be welcome next time. Dog treats are on the bar waiting! Really friendly service from everybody with nothing being any problem - can’t wait to visit again"See more

"The whole experience was simply perfect, from welcome drinks to the amazing desserts. The occasion was quite special, my friend was leaving UK for an international assignment in China. after warm and pleasant welcome, we had welcome drinks in the bar area and than we were seated and offered authentic Italian starters, covering both vegetarian (my friend is a vegetarian) and non-vegetarian option. Starters included fried, pickled vegetables, Italian cheese and meat selection, as well as the breaded&fried mozzarella; as the main course we had Pasta Norma, and a especially aromatic and tasty chicken . The last was thei best, a cake that definitely exceeded my own expectations! All special dinners, when I want to feel treated like VIP and served excellent food and drinks, I will be booking at Vino e Sapori!"See more

"Very stylish hotel and felt very suited to the occasion. Staff were great, very polite and attentive. There wasn't many diners so atmosphere was a little flat but actually we have privacy to talk and could hear each other which is an improvement on other hotels in Cambridge. Food was nice and very good value for money."See more

"It was busy and the staff were working hard, but the service was good. Food was mediocre: "spicy" food had no kick and some of the portions were on the small side (e.g., the Ravioli). Not bad but not great either. Ambience was fine for a busy place, but I preferred their previous location near the market - that place had character."See more

"Restaurant was a great experience. Food, service and views made for a great combination. Mussels to start, great sharing starter. Smaller portion sufficient for Two. As the day was hit both selected salads; - Smoked Salmon - Arabic Chicken with Apricot Both are recommended if you would like a lighter/summery meal. My preference was the chicken and apricot. And I would say a Must eat for those with a sweet tooth is the Sticky Toffee Pudding with sauce and ice cream."See more

"This really is a lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. The Sunday menu was interesting and of reasonable value and there is a good wine list. My wife choose the ham hock terrine and pork belly; I chose the chicken salad and sardines. I later added a side order of vegetables. The starters were of considerable size, well presented and very tasty. The pork belly was of similar size but there were too few sardines. The vegetables didn't arrive although we did get a side salad. I questioned this and was told that was all there was. It was unfortunate as most of the meal was very enjoyable. The New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was excellent. We will return!"See more
