"Our 30th anniversary dinner. Food was good and fresh but no wow factor. Ambience was great but seatings were a little tight. Felt the sushi chef lacked the touch of interaction/communication with the patrons and the process of making and serving omasake was a bit mechanical."See more

"It was wonderful as usual, with a new menu offering lots of seasonal vegetables and fruits. Service was perfect. Patio is so great! And they offer a huge selection of superb ciders. Her Father’s is where I’ve taken all my summer guests, and everyone has loved the food they ate."See more

Japanese | Chinatown / Kensington Market,

"We went to a bar at dinner time (~6:30PM) so the ambience was not what a bar would normally be like, but there was drumming going on outside which added to the noise level since it was fairly empty when we went. The food was good and came quickly, the service was quick and the server was always returning to fill our cups with water, which was greatly appreciated. I imagine that the overall experience here is much better if you go when it is darker out and actually have drinks!"See more
