Visited before so had high expectations when visiting with friends on a winters wind swept evening. Were not disappointed. Staff attentive, friendly and professional. Food very good, choices from several menus a bit confusing but good once explained! We will be going again.
This was my second visit to this restaurant and was not disappointed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food is absolutely outstanding and reasonably priced. Will certainly be visiting again for future family meals.
The food was only ok. The starter of fish cakes was enjoyable, tasty and hot , but the Moroccan vegetables was disappointingly tasteless except the overriding taste of balsamic vinegar.
Excellent food and service, everything was lovely and we shall definitely be back soon.
Four of us had a pre Christmas lunch here, only one had been here before. Everyone enjoyed it - general ambience, food, drinks and service all very good and all would definitely return.
We had a lovely afternoon Tea for my mums birthday and the staff were very accommodating and ascorted my mum through the back of building as she was disabled. Very helpful friendly staff, well decorated and clean hotel.
We are fond of the quirky, faded elegance of the Grand and find it a reliable sanctuary for afternoon tea and light meals. The live pianist in the Palm Court is particularly pleasant. Long may it continue!
The food is amazing and excellent value for money. The staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome. The ambience could be improved with some backround music, perhaps traditional Napalese music. Overall a great little restaurant.
great hotel with a great resturant, my liver was superb, my wife steak was delicious, they were even able to convert a sweet at a moments notice to dairy free. lovely but not over attentive staff, prices ok, treat cost rather than every day. will deffinately be back.
