    Visited Lunar for lunch with a friend from Cardiff. We received a warm welcome and our server was pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. Service was relaxed and not rushed. When my friend wanted her coffee to be served hotter this was replaced with a smile and the server seeking confirmation that the replacement was to her liking. When she asked if the fish could be served without batter due to an intolerance chef was happy to oblige and was delicious. All in all a very pleasant dining experience.

    Nice canal side pub, staff were lovely, great selection of beers and drinks and offering bottles of water for the table is a nice touch. Food tasty and very good sized portions. The only drawback was no seasonal vegetables on any of the dishes or offered as a side dish, apart from peas, side salad and potatoes in the form of chips etc.

    We were a party of 8, with vegans, veggies and meat eaters so very varied group. I had the kare burosu which is always amazing, as well as the mushroom bao buns. Everyone was super happy with their orders and the food was divine!
