Another great experience at Post Mountain House…took friends into RMNP on a beautiful Monday, stopped briefly in downtown Estes Park to visit The Taffy Shop for a few treats, then walked through The Stanley Hotel before going to Post Mountain House on The Stanley Hotel grounds for dinner. We enjoyed the Post Salads (with and without various combinations of eggs, bacon, and salmon) as well as the salmon dinner. The food and service were excellent as always. Never disappointed. Post Mountain House is always a highlight of our trips to Estes and RMNP!

First time to Estes Park and wanted a steakhouse. Found it online just out of luck. Looked at menu in advance, and saw several bison and elk choices. This is not something I can get at home, so thought that we would try one of these. We were greeted warmly at the front of the restaurant by Sondra, and we asked her about several of these entree choices. She gave us a recommendation, then sat us at a table with a beautiful view of the mountains. Luis was our waiter and he was very personable, polite, and knowledgeable. We asked his opinion of the entrees and he gave the same recommendation as Sondra ! So for our entree , we both got the 16 oz bone in bison rib steak. We also shared a wedge salad and I had mashed potatoes and my wife had the au gratin potatoes. Everything was excellent, and it was just the right amount of food. We both ate every bite of the large bison steak , which was tender, flavorful , cooked perfectly, and the be honest, just plain awesome. we don’t know when we will be back to Eates Park again, but we will certainly dine at Twin Owls Steakhouse when we do come back. The people were kind, the views amazing, and the food even better. Thanks, great job.

This whole experience was wonderful! My husband and I were the only ones having tea in the dining room, and the staff (Nathan and Daniel) were willing to give us quite a bit of their time to share their stories and travels with us. The ambiance was cozy and comfortable with lace doilies on each table and potted plants hanging from the ceiling. The tea menu had several options and came out piping hot. There were courses of food provided, starting with charcuterie and followed by the three-tier high tea server with more tea sandwiches, scones, and pastries than we've ever had at a high tea elsewhere (we took more than half home). We were also invited to explore the grounds before departing; it's a gorgeous property.

A great experience. Dinner was delicious. Vibe was casual. I would go back again. Highly recommend.
