Restaurants near Marina Del Sol

The only thing we didn't enjoy was being too full afterwards. All of the food was absolutely exceptional. I didnt expect to have some of the best scallops I've ever had at a Brazilian steakhouse but I did. From start to finish... an absolute treat.

Kemah Steak Company was a pleasant surprise. I can’t believe that we haven’t already been there. Our reservation was 5pm on a Saturday. We went early because it was a holiday weekend. The restaurant wasn’t busy so it was easy to enjoy the quiet ambiance. Our waitress, Victoria, was excellent. She was polite, professional and efficient. The menu at KSC doesn’t wear you out. It’s very straight forward which I appreciate in a steakhouse. We started our date-night dinner with a Dirty Matini and a Woodford Reserve Double on the large rock. The drinks were excellent and we had time to enjoy them with quiet conversation. We ordered the Allen Brothers 20 oz. Prime Bone In Ribeye with the 3-Cheese Grits and a Baked Potato. The steak, which we split, was cooked to a perfect medium temperature that truly melted in my mouth with the delicious garlic-butter. The grits were yummy and the baked potato was delicious. We were looking for a steak night out dinner and the KSC delivered. We will definitely return.

We took our grown kids and grandkids for lunch on a busy holiday weekend at the Kemah Boardwalk. The food and service (Seth) were great. Of course, it’s pricy but it’s a tourist attraction so it’s to be expected. The huge aquarium was well stocked with unique creatures. The stingray exhibit and other reptiles were awesome!! We all enjoyed our visit!

 Had a great time in the bar area on martini night. Clay and Desiree took excellent care of us. We really enjoy the teamwork of everyone at Merlions and of course the drinks and food.
