"British food, very very well done. Would highly recommend to everyone. Had the bone marrow - well executed plain simple bone marrow on toast with salt and parsley lemon salad. Venison liver and mash - best dish with liver succulent and well seared. "Booked a table for 2 at this ristorante for pre-theatre meal. Was greeted by friendly staff who offered us a free glass of quite decent Prosecco. Huh I thought, that’s a decent start!
Selected scampi trasteverina (beautifully prepared and simply cooked) and an old skool prawn both dishes hit the spot 👍🏽
The mains arrived soon after, a delicately cooked Dover sole and an off menu selection of fegato alla beurre which wasn’t a problem for the very accommodating staff.
Have to say the food was uniformly excellent and the wine...a cheeky little moscatel and Sauvignon blanc grape mix...a perfect accompaniment.
