Sunday brunch at the Interconti is a Frankfurt tradition and always perfect.
Got thrown off as it’s the lobby restaurant of what appears to be a nice boutique hotel. Menu is small but it has a nice offering of healthy Scans avian style food. I had the cod and it was rather salty, but I tend to eat quite bland, so that could have been the reason.
Service was excellent! Highly recommend the fish dishes! Veal was not the most interesting. The chef has a perfect catch of fusion, sommelier was brilliant too. We visited during the 15 anniversary period so great value as a bonus.
If you are a vegetarian, this brunch is not for you. I don't go to a brunch to just eat bread and some plain spätzle. Visiting in winter, you would expect atleast some warm sautéed vegetables, but nope, nothing. I have had better brunches, even in the same Le Meridien long back. A big...
