"Great food, good prices, great location: in niewmarket next to red light district, HUGE gluten free menu (wife has celiac) and they took special care of us while we were there to accommodate her (she got the gluten free lasagne which she said was Crazy good). "Found this gem of a restaurant through OpenTable and decided to give them a try because we love garlic! It was a rainy summer weeknight evening, but we sat outside on the front patio under the umbrella and enjoyed some wine and the garlic baker watching the pedestrians stroll by. The service was attentive, the food great and a generous portion. The entree we both chose the filet mignon with ratatouille, mashed potatoes and a delicious garlic sauce. Had the special dessert of the evening, the cookie dough cheesecake with chocolate garlic ice cream! It was a first, but it was really good! The only thing I would do differently next time I return (because I will) is that we will each get our own Garlic baker to start off with!"See more

There was a team of three waitresses who all were very attentive to our needs and made us feel really comfortable without being intrusive. The food was fantastic !!!! "A friend and I I had dinner there last week. We were both quite impressed. I had a phenomenal paella, and the wine selections were quite good as well. The service was also outstanding. My friend and I agreed that this was now our favorite spot for dinner..and in Rockridge, that's saying alot. I was so impressed that I returned this week with a different friend and this time, I had the duck while my friend had the paella along with some different wines. Excellent once again! One of the owners stopped by to chat for a bit, and acknowedged that the name of the place didn't quite mesh with what was being served, but hey, that's what happens when you and your partners come up with a name while in Las Vegas.
