Excellent afternoon tea experience. Three sandwiches, two scones and four desserts. Great value, especially in comparison to other afternoon teas.

A quiet late lunch. No-one at front desk but bar man came immediately over to take our costs. Big plus - far better than "someone will be with you in a moment"! At the table, the waiting staff immediately pointed out we had been offered a free cocktail after a previous visit more than six months ago! We hadn't going to mention this, so it was interesting that they had - and used! - a system to flag this up. Lunch menu steaks were excellent. Chips are fab! Loved the horseradish tang to the beetroot starter. We will be back.

Service was excellent. We had the steak and wine deal but felt like the side and sauce was too small for what we paid. Our server was excellent with lots of good recommendations for us

Fantastic restaurant and would recommend. It's always busy which is a good sign . Food is fantastic. Just need to get the drinks service quicker. It can take too long between ordering drinks and them arriving at your table. However a brilliant restaurant.

I had a wonderful lunch. The market menu is an abbreviated and less expensive lunch option. I felt welcomed which was lovely as a solo diner. I had seared scottish scallop as the first course which included scallops, prawn and cod cheek. I followed that with steak frites that was cooked to order and I was given a choice of knives. It cam with a whisky peppercorn sauce. I hadn't really planned on dessert but changed my mind and went with the affogato. I don't remember the wine I had but is was described on the wine list as something like a mini amarone. It was very nice. The service was just right and I really had a great time overall.
