Restaurants near North End Park

Other than the usual great service and food, this time we noticed how incredible the boys that service the tables with water and bread and cleanup were. We were asked several times if we needed anything. They usually are good, but this time they were exceptional. We even noticed one young man who was I believe picking up dishes from a table that had his other hand behind his back, like you see at high-end restaurants. Or should I say higher-priced restaurants. Tiny, as usual, is a gem.

This was our first visit to Mana - and we will definitely be returning! We opted to sit at the bar for our 5:30 reservation. The bartender was top notch and made a number of recommendations while we reviewed their menu. The bar area is modern but warm - and the booths looked very inviting. Not a fan of the chairs in the center of the dining room - they looked more like a breakfast restaurant chair vs the rest of this very classy dining room. But the real star was the food - just amazing! We started with a couple of their signature cocktails, the Zontanos and the Elpida. Both were very tasty and very strong. They brought us a small bowl of greek olives with our drinks that were wonderful and set the tone for the rest of our food. Shifted to the Pan Fried Saganaki on the Share menu - it was simply fantastic. We had a small piece left and opted to bring that home as well. Crispy on the outside and after squeezing a bit of the included grilled lemon over the cheese, it was fabulous. We then shared the Char-Grilled Octopus with a fennel salad on the side. We have NEVER tasted octopus that was so good - the grill taste was perfect and the octopus itself was really tender. Would definitely order that again. Since we were sharing, we added a piece of their orange phyllo cake with a scoop of vanilla gelato on top. It was one of the best desserts I've ever tasted - moist but not too heavy and the gelato balanced out the strong citrus flavor wonderfully. Overall a 10 out of 10 for Mana. Don't know why we haven't been before but will be seeing alot of them in the future!

We had a nice dinner. The table was in the main dining area so it was a bit loud. The food was good, I expect nothing less The sausage and peppers app that we got for free because we booked on open table was a fantastic extra and was very, very good Always lively inside. Enjoyable as ever!

It was a lovely evening to sit out at the patio. Our food was amazing. Our server was helpful and friendly. Loved my cocktail. I would definitely go again.
