Restaurants near Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park

We sat at the bar and had great service from Todd. The short rib meal with mashed potatoes and carrots was delicious as was my dirty martini.

Hugo’s Cellar never disappoints. From the moment you walk in until you leave you are treated as a very special guest. The service, the quality of food and the treatment from every staff person you encounter is excellent. When visiting Las Vegas make the extra effort to go to Hugo’s you will be so happy you did.

The cocktails, the shrimp cocktail, the lobster bisque, the beef rib cap (with blue cheese sauce), the asparagus, the carrot cake and coffee… and the waitstaff were stellar. Last time I was there, the noise level in the restaurant was so loud it was difficult to converse. This time the level was so much better and easier to talk.

I kept telling my office team about this place as my husband and I come every time we are in Las Vegas. We fortunately had a conference this week in Las Vegas, so my team experienced everything I had been talking about. They loved it and I am sure some books will be purchased! We will be back!!!!

I love this place! Food is excellent! The baguette is so authentic and with the carrot salad with the champagne vinaigrette that came with it . . . OMG! The escargot was as good as I remember in Burgundy. The onion soup was served at the perfect temp - hot, but not burn the roof of your mouth hot - and so tasty. Our server was sooo good! I wish we could recall her name. She took extra time to make sure exactly how my wife wanted her burger cooked (their collaboration settled on “medium rare +”) and then checked to be sure my wife was happy when it came. She was. If you love French food or have never tried, this place is a must in Vegas!!
