Excellent food, charming service, delicious wine altogether a first class lunch

This was my 2nd visit at this restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Both times went at lunchtime. Food is delicious, staff very friendly and restaurant very airy and clean. Thoroughly recommend it.

From the moment we arrived we felt very relaxed and special. The restaurant itself is intimate and calming. There are only 10 tables and just two sittings so no hustle and bustle around you. The hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about their food and drink. The food itself was fabulous. Presented beautifully and a good mix of choices. The chef is happy to make small changes too. All in all a wonderful evening.

We enjoyed our experience at the Red Lion. The staff were friendly & helpful & the food was delicious & value for money. The only negative thing was the service as it was very slow & we had to wait almost an hour & a half for our food. Nevertheless, we would be happy to eat there again.
